As an educator myself, finding an outstanding daycare for my own daughter was one of my highest priorities. We found exactly that at Pooh Bear Daycare Center in Fitchburg. From the very beginning, our daughter loved every one of her teachers—and so did we. The entire staff genuinely cares about each child and creates an environment filled with love, learning, and encouragement. It was clear every day that she was known, valued, and cared for. The owner, director, and teachers are truly top-notch. Their dedication, professionalism, and kindness gave us complete peace of mind. There was never a single day that we questioned the care our daughter was receiving. We are incredibly grateful for the love, support, and wonderful memories Pooh Bear Daycare gave our family. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any family looking for exceptional childcare!
Angela DavisJul 16, 2026Both of our daughters attended here from 3 months old on. The staff is great. Very caring and great tenure. Our daughters loved it and miss going there. Love that they prepare meals and snacks so we didn't have to worry about that. They use an app to keep you updated on how the kids are doing throughout the day. There is a secure outdoor play area for the kids and the kids get 2 outdoor play sessions per day (weather permitting).

Both my boys have loved all their teachers and it’s clear that the teachers also really care about the kids at Pooh Bear. The staff are all very nice to work with and some have been at Pooh Bear for 20 years or more. Teachers are mostly good at providing updates/photos of how the day is going via an online app but sometimes can get busy with the kids. The facility is safe and clean and there are two separate outdoor playgrounds for kids of different ages and they also take kids on occasional walks to nearby parks and neighborhoods in the summer. We appreciate the provided meals which make life easier for us as we don’t have to plan/pack anything. Pooh Bear offers a VASD-associated 4K program with continuing daycare afterwards which was convenient for us so we could have both kids stay at the same place as the oldest prepared for Kindergarten.
Ryan LiegelAug 15, 2025We have been at Pooh Bear for my 3 kids (now down to my last one !) for almost 9 years now. You can tell the owners try to do right by the staff and the staff try to do right by the kids, which is what it’s all about! Some of their staff have really long tenure which is great. They prioritize taking care of the kids over tracking things in technology which I also think is the right move.

Absolutely wonderful teachers with endless patience and a passion for childcare. My little guy is now ready for kindergarten thanks to Pooh Bear. High recommend!
Tim ElliottAug 7, 2025We have our daughter at Pooh Bear and have been so happy with it! Everyone is so friendly and takes time to get to know our child and what she needs. She is happy and has made lots of friends under the care of her great teachers. The staff and management do a great job operating the center, and we are glad to be there.
