  • We’ve been sending our 2.5 year old to TLC for the past 3 months, and we are very pleased with the care he has received. He has been potty training and the “green room” teachers have been very patient and communicative throughout this process. It took him a bit to warm up to his new school environment, but now that he has, he talks about his friends and what he does at school, when he’s home. The owner and director or TLC are obviously very invested in making this a loving environment for the kids and families who attend, and recently hosted an event for parents and grandparents to visit the center and enjoy pie before thanksgiving. It’s also quite common to walk into the building on a weekday morning, and smell something actually being baked for breakfast. We would recommend you check out TLC!

  • My son (who was enrolled part-time 2 days per week) was terminated after 4 days with no prior discussion about him being inconsolable. Instead, what was added to his termination letter is that parents (me) made inappropriate comments. I asked if the infant room teacher wore her shoes in the infant room because most daycares do not do this. I also asked this question because the stairs leading up to the infant room have huge black stains on them. Any parent would notice this. I also mentioned if a little boy who screams at the top of his lungs all day always does that. The staff member said yes and chucked. It was light hearted with no ill intent. Drop my son off with them today and 3 hours later I am informed that he is being terminated. They terminated my son because I questioned their cleanliness and they are unable to tend to a crying baby. But what's more concerning is that we receive photos and videos of him being happy and playing throughout the day. What would have resolved this issue would have been consistent follow up, open conversation, if my comments made the staff uncomfortable then address it then and there. Poor communication skills. Communication and follow up should be top priority in a daycare center. Oh and cleanliness.

  • We couldn’t be happier with Tender Loving Care Daycare. Taylor and her team are incredibly kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every child. Although TLC just opened in April 2025, we’ve been with Taylor since 2021 and didn’t think twice about following her when she opened her own center — that’s how much we trust her. Communication is excellent, and we love getting updates throughout the day. It’s clear that the staff genuinely loves what they do. We’re so grateful to be part of this amazing daycare family and can’t recommend TLC highly enough!

  • We have truly enjoyed sending our kids to Tender Loving Care. Taylor and her staff show dedication in creating an environment for children that is safe, fun and developmentally appropriate depending on your child's age and needs. My family has known Taylor and some of her staff for the last 4 years and they truly love these kids as though they are their own. It is comforting, as a parent, dropping off your kids knowing they will be loved and well taken care of. Tender Loving Care is a great option for parents (and kids) who are looking for a center that provides exceptional care and activities for your children to learn and grow.

  • We transitioned from an in-home to this daycare center for our two boys and we have been so happy with our experience. The staff is so amazing, kind and treats our boys like their own. Their days are filled with so much structure and activities and the best part is that we get constant updates on what they are doing, how they are eating, their naps and other daily updates that help us feel in the know and in a small way a part of their day. Our oldest vocabulary is already growing and his interactions with his peers and teacher’s has been so fun to watch!

  • Finding a daycare for your kids can be a stressful task. After finding Taylor all that stress went away. Taylor and the team at Tender Loving Care are absolutely amazing!! It is such a relief to know your kids are safe and loved while you are at work- and that is always the case at TLC! Highly recommend to any parents looking for child care for their kiddos!!

Questions parents ask about TENDER LOVING CARE

Is TENDER LOVING CARE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

TENDER LOVING CARE holds Wisconsin licence 2000593112-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in St. Croix County, licensed since 2025-04-08. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is TENDER LOVING CARE's YoungStar rating?

The directory shows no YoungStar rating for TENDER LOVING CARE. YoungStar participation is not universal, so a provider without one has not been rated rather than been rated badly, and it is licensed and regulated either way.

What are TENDER LOVING CARE's hours?

The state directory lists 06:30 AM-05:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does TENDER LOVING CARE take?

The licence covers 6 weeks to 10 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for TENDER LOVING CARE?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects TENDER LOVING CARE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
