Tiny Green Trees has been our daycare provider for both of my kids. Their teachers are really loving and thoughtful caregivers. They're very communicative and have been consistently dedicated to the kids' development. I love their wholesome menu, that really helps me feel less pressure at dinnertime knowing they've been getting healthy, great flavors at school. And I love the ethos! The kids come home covered in mud and sand and they're ready to eat and pass out. Today I got a picture of them finding a cicada and visiting the garden in their rain suits. What could be better!
Grace BernierAug 19, 2025Our son has been enrolled here for a little over two years, and we are so grateful for the caring, engaging, and dynamic learning environment the teachers and staff create for the students. We love the nature-based approach to early childhood education, and we are confident that the time our son has spent at TGT--and the ways he has learned to interact with and care for our environment while there--has endowed in him an appreciation for our natural world and a sense of compassion, respect, and care.
Erin PhillipsAug 19, 2025My son went to Tiny Green Trees for a year and a half, and I can’t say enough about how great our experience was! The nature based curriculum and setting combined with the absolute most amazing humans that work there was everything I could’ve hoped for. I will forever be grateful for his time there, and I’m hoping he can spend his summers as an Outdoor Explorer there for years to come! :)
ROSIE CARLSONOct 8, 2024Exceptional care and teachers who really work to develop close relationships with the kids. The social and emotional development we saw over our time there was amazing, and knowing our child was in a safe environment was such a relief as a parent. I would absolutely reccomend TGT to anyone looking for childcare in the area and especially those interested in nature based learning. This learning environment really shaped the foundation for my child’s well being.
Brooke ShuttsSep 12, 2024Our child loved the time they spent at TGT. We could see how much the curriculum fostered their love of the outdoors. At home they want to play outside all the time in any weather. Also the all vegetarian menu that was fresh each day was a huge benefit in teaching him to eat new and healthy foods. They loved their teachers and would talk about them frequently at home.
Gina StubenvollSep 6, 2024My 2 year old son attends Tiny Green Trees twice a week - he loves the places, asks to see the teachers on the days he not in class. He / We love the outdoors element of this day care. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for daycare in the Milwaukee area

Questions parents ask about TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER
Is TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER holds Wisconsin licence 2000588022-002, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Milwaukee County, licensed since 2021-02-22. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER 5 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER's hours?
- The state directory lists 07:00 AM-05:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER take?
- The licence covers 3 weeks to 9 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects TINY GREEN TREES NATURE BASED CHILDCARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
