  • Love taking my daughter to open gym. Large open space and lots for her to do. The place is so clean and everything is well cared for. Once shes older we hope to enroll her in day camp activities

  • We have rented our their facility twice now for birthday parties. It was extremely simple to book. The day of the party staff were extremely helpful. The space is clean and kids of all ages had a great time as well as there being space for adults to sit and mingle. Great location for a birthday party!

  • We went to a park today and Viking Day Camp was here. Every single adult with the kids was face down on their phones and we spent an hour chasing our toddler through kids who had zero supervision or guidance to be kind. The bathrooms and the kids water bottle were far enough away you would think the younger kids would have a buddy with them. But these, maybe 5 year olds were unattended running through the parking lot, a field away, unsupervised and alone as we left

  • I noticed 4 unattended boys at a very large & public park on 8/19/25. They were much too far away from the group with no adult supervision. I waited 5 minutes and never saw one worker watching out for them. The ratio of adult to child wasn’t safe. Think twice before you hand over your precious child to this company.

Questions parents ask about VIKING DAY CAMP

Is VIKING DAY CAMP a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

VIKING DAY CAMP holds Wisconsin licence 7000590147-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Dane County, licensed since 2020-09-01. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is VIKING DAY CAMP's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates VIKING DAY CAMP 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are VIKING DAY CAMP's hours?

The state directory lists 07:00 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does VIKING DAY CAMP take?

The licence covers 4 years to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for VIKING DAY CAMP?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects VIKING DAY CAMP's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
