  • Kia has been watching my kids for 11 years now, way before she had the daycare! She is amazing to them and was the first place I ever felt safe leaving my babies. She has always treated my kids like her own . Now that she has the daycare it gives her an opportunity to care for many more children just like she has mine ! I highly recommend this daycare it’s clean and beautiful & your kids will learn while there & have fun ! She will teach them manners, abcs & anything else she can ! She really is such a special person.

  • As a first-time single mother, choosing a daycare was one of the hardest and most emotional decisions I’ve had to make. I knew I needed childcare to be able to work and provide for my daughter, but I was so nervous. I had heard too many horror stories. I had a checklist in my head—things I absolutely needed and things I would not compromise on. I’m very intentional about how my daughter is raised: what she hears, sees, eats, and even what’s spoken over her matters to me. I want her to grow up knowing what love and peace feel like. So, when I started searching, I wasn’t just looking for somewhere “good.” I was looking for somewhere that felt like home—somewhere that smelled clean, felt calm, and radiated care the second you walked in. I toured nearly every daycare in Mercer County. And I mean every one. Each time, something felt off—until I stepped into Auntie Kia’s. From the moment I walked in (talking fast because I was nervous and scared I’d never find the right place), Nikkia truly saw me. She listened. I don’t mean half-nodding while distracted—I mean really listened to what mattered to me and my daughter. She was excited to meet Nina, and the feeling was mutual. Nina loved her instantly, and that gave me peace like nothing else could. There were so many things I loved: • The security—the front door stays locked and you can’t just walk in, which made me feel safe. • The visibility—the rooms are open. I can see my child and her teachers, not just a glass window where someone brings her out. • The communication—I get pictures, updates, and genuine conversations. • The cleanliness—the space smells fresh, feels peaceful, and reflects how much they care. • The location—it’s easy to park and feels tucked away from chaos. But most importantly? I feel peace. As an anxious mom, especially as a first-timer, I have never once worried about my daughter’s safety or care while she’s there. I know she’s loved. Nikkia often reminds me: “If you ever need anything or have concerns, my door is always open.” And she means it. She doesn’t have to do all the extra things she does for the kids—but she chooses to. That’s how you know this isn’t just a daycare. It’s a village, and your child is family. I feel truly blessed that my daughter has a spot at Auntie Kia’s. If you’re a parent who wants more than just childcare—if you want love, safety, and peace—this is the place.
