I joined Kinder Haus’s infant waitlist in February and was initially told to expect an opening in July. That estimate was later moved to August, so I planned my return to work around the information they provided and told my employer I expected to have childcare then. When I called to check on the opening, I was suddenly told they do not anticipate having any availability “in the foreseeable future.” No one contacted me to warn me that the July/August projection was no longer realistic—I only found out because I called them. I understand that childcare availability can change and that moving children from the infant room may depend on their developmental readiness. However, moving from July, to August, to no foreseeable availability whatsoever is not a minor scheduling change. If they had been honest about that uncertainty earlier, I could have spent the past six months pursuing other childcare arrangements instead of relying on an opening that apparently was never secure. When I questioned how their age-based transition explanation matched what I had previously been told, the staff member responded dismissively, “Yeah, that’s what I’m saying,” as though I were unreasonable for being upset. This directly affects my employment and the care of my infant; I expected basic professionalism and communication. Kinder Haus wasted six months of my childcare planning and left my family scrambling at the last minute. After both the lack of communication and the way I was spoken to, I would not feel comfortable trusting them with my baby. UPDATE: Owner replied but did not address the actual issue. This response does not address the actual issue raised in my review. I understand that projected openings are not guarantees; I explicitly acknowledged that. The issue is that after I was given projected July and then August availability, Kinder Haus did not notify me when those timelines became unrealistic. The monthly emails only asked whether my childcare needs had changed; they did not update me about the drastic change in expected availability. I learned there were no openings in the foreseeable future only because I called. Prospective parents should understand that, based on my experience, they should not rely on Kinder Haus to notify them when a projected timeline is no longer realistic.
Maria SJul 24, 2026My son attended Kinderhaus all the way thru preschool. I could not recommend them more. I have since moved away and am always comparing daycares to the standards of kinderhaus for my youngest kids. Everyone there was so caring and involved with the kids, they felt like family!
Anna WillisOct 24, 2025I couldn’t be more pleased with the care our children receive from Kinder Haus. From the moment we enrolled, the staff had been incredibly welcoming. They are kind, patient, and keep us up to date on our children’s progress and activities.
Logan HamrickDec 3, 2024Both of my kids attended Care here. They are real professional and respectful throughout the last 8 years of caring. My kids were well educated during attending Kinder Haus, which prepared them for Kindergarten.
Martin PDec 3, 2024My daughter has been going to Kinder Haus for 5 years. She loves it and we have had the best experience. Next year is her last year there and we are going to be sad to leave everyone ❤️
Brook WyattDec 3, 2024I cannot express how amazing this place is! The teachers are super involved, I always know what’s going on with my toddler whether through out the day and through the week, and they have the best activities and events. Highly recommend this place!
