  • Both of our kids attend Mimi’s. The teachers are attentive and genuinely care about the kids. They communicate with parents quickly and make families are informed about their children’s activities. We feel so lucky as a family that our kids enjoy going to Mimi’s everyday and feel confident that they are safe and well loved. What a gift!

  • Our daughter has been at Mimi’s for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier with her care there. All the teachers are so sweet and Shelby is wonderful. Our girl loves it at Mimi’s!

  • The owner and operator, Shelby, is very rude and condescending. She has cookie cutter expectations and if your schedule or your child does not meet those expectations, they will be singled out and alienated. I pulled my son from this daycare 9 months ago and never sent him back. He is now thriving in Pre-k and still tells me he hates his old school. He was traumatized by them singling him out and alienating him from his classmates. Shelby labeled him as disruptive and constantly sent condescending messages home inferring there was "something going on at home". My son mentioned Mimi's daycare yesterday, after 9 months he is still traumatized by the way they treated him. This is not ok. As for scheduling, my husband had to have unforeseen/emergency surgery 4 times in one month. We would schedule my son weekly, in hopes that my husband would be able to go to work, but some days he was unable so my son would stay home with his father. We could not have possibly known he would have to have surgery 4 times for the same issue in the same month. I was fully open about my husbands ongoing medical issues and communicated in advance when there were changes to our schedule. We were down to one income for a family of 4 and we struggled. Instead of Shelby, extending understanding or the tiniest bit of grace, she instead changed the attendance policy during that month and charged me for days that my son was scheduled but did not attend. No where in the policy book, that I signed upon enrollment, did it say we would be charged for days scheduled but unable to attend. As a child and family advocate and social service specialist, I implore you to do your research and look elsewhere for childcare.
