I'm a first time mom who never send her child to day care. I looked at about 4 day cares before finding this one. I promise you that I immediately felt comfortable considering this place. The 1st thing I noticed is they make sure who they let in the building. When I went to tour the place I had my sleeping child in my arms and they made sure who I was before letting me in! It didn't bother me but I felt safe knowing they don't let ANYONE in just because. The hallways are clear, the exits are clear, the emergency cribs are clear! I didn't see any babies with dirty faces. The cafeteria is adorable! I saw smiling faces everywhere. Including the kids! I could tell they enjoyed being there. I went in through nap time (Toddler Room) and I was amazed by how the Caregivers managed to get everyone to sleep! with exception of a few. But being so young they understood to be quiet. No kids ran up to me wanting to get out. In the last 4 I had almost 2 in each do that. The director was a sweetheart. Their rates start at $165 Weekly for infants and toddlers. They provide Breakfast, Lunch, & Snack. They use a "Creative Curriculum", they have outside activity for at least 1 hr daily. They are licensed by the WV Department of Health & HR services. And they have an OPEN DOOR policy! To parents of course. Which means we can walk in at any time and are allowed to participate with our children! I will go in later today to finally process my application so I will take pictures for you all! I'm so excited to choose this place! :D P.s. My child is 16 Months old.
