My child attended Imagination Station/IMS Express from August 2023 to June 2025. He previously raised a concern about a teacher, and the staff handled it well - they shared the footage and resolved it quickly. Recently, he told me that a staff member pulled his ear and pinched him multiple times, and that he saw this happen to another child as well. When I asked the center to review the footage and explain what actions they were taking, they were not transparent at all. I made my best efforts to inform the other parent and have since reported this to licensing. I hope this helps other parents make an informed choice.
Niaomi WJun 28, 2025This preschool has given my four year old a great education and a great sense of community. The teachers help the kids feel brave and independent, they give my child the reassurance that he can do hard things, but if he needs help they will step in and help him. He is so excited to go to school everyday, and he adores all of his teachers in the building.
Kate MarshallFeb 26, 2025My son has been at this facility since June 2018. And has many friends here I love how they treat the kids like family.
AlmaOct 25, 2022Best daycare in Anchorage you'll never find another place that gives your child the love caring and understanding like the staff at Imagination Station Daycare
Carolyn CarlsonJul 22, 2015(Specifically for their preschool) I thought the bad reviews might be an exaggeration and the product of a bad experience. Now I do not think that. The place was a mess, the teachers and children have only two places to play: their classroom and outside, and the middle of the childcare was used as storage space instead of something fun for the kids. Although they did have some cool looking dinosaurs on the walls, but I doubt the children get to enjoy them much. I could hear some teachers that clearly didn't want to be there and were frustrated with the children without trying to come to a positive solution. The administration was rude and condescending. I do not feel like they support their teachers much. I know nothing about the food, and did not personally talk with any of the teachers, however I could hear one in particular repeatedly getting upset with a child for not sitting down and drinking their water. Granted, I was applying for a position and only stayed for 10 minutes (so, no tours of the place and only limited interaction with the administration). However, I knew I would become a mess if I worked there. Security was pretty relaxed, if you were to walk in, I think, it would have taken the administration several minutes to address you. On the plus side, they have cameras on the campus. (I actually do not feel this is much of a plus) I do not know the cost of the place, but I would highly suggest finding someplace else for your child. I do not believe your child would not receive much tender, love and care here.
