Katryna's In Home Daycare

Sadly, my 22 month old daughter did not have a great experience. She was there for three days, got RSV (I do not fault the daycare for this. It was expected and the provider provided great communication about it), and missed the second week of daycare because of it. Then we went back for the fourth day of daycare for her, and she cried and didn’t want me to leave which was concerning but I thought okay she’s just a baby who wants her mom. Well, when I picked her up that day, the provider told me my 22 month old daughter was disruptive, and makin the other kids not want to do activities. (I assume because she was whiny and still didn’t feel well from RSV), and that I need to be more structured at home to help her transition her better to daycare. I cried that day because I kept thinking “what am I doing wrong as a mother”, “does my baby have ADHD that she can’t sit still?” Well, I had the realization that my baby had never been to daycare before so I don’t expect her to be structured in just four days. On the fifth day I brought her back, she clinged to me and did not want to go inside. I dropped her off and an hour later texted the provider, I’ll come get my baby if she’s uncomfortable and if you don’t think this will work out… she replied a picture of her crying, and said I don’t know how to get her adjusted. I went and picked her up and got her stuff and said we weren’t coming back. I got her water cup back that the provider suggested I left there, and when I went to wash it at home, the straw and top had black mold. When I picked my baby up on the last day, she was drinking out of said cup. I have photos of the mold. I’m just trying to provide my experiences in hopes that others are aware, that’s all. I really don’t want to discredit anyone’s business, I just wouldn’t recommend. Additionally, when I went o pick my daughter up, I walked up to the door and could hear her crying in the backyard, and heard the provider or helper (unsure which girl it was) yell, “my child’s name, STOP!”

Katryna’s Daycare is a great place! My daughter learned and grew so much while she was there. They really helped prepare her for kindergarten and all of the staff are great. She looked forward to going there everyday and truly blossomed during her time there. I 100% recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking.

Katryna and her staff were very pleased to work with! My daughter loved being there and home was very clean and tidy! Well secured location with cameras around home. A little plus that she lives next door to law enforcement. Highly recomend Katryna if you're looking for a safe , clean fun place for your childcare!

My son went to daycare at Katrynas daycare and we had a great expierence! He started at 10 months old and they were so great at making him feel at home and loved. It was a really smooth transition and everytime I dropped him off and picked him up he was happy. There’s a lady there “Nana” that especially loved on him and I could tell they had a sweet bond. I recommend Katrynas daycare to anyone looking for a small daycare with a loving environment for their kid. It’s very reasonably priced and they took great care of my baby. So grateful for them!

My son went to this daycare for over a year and a half, until he was old enough for pre-k. He still tells me stories of his time here and is always so happy to see Katryna around town every now and again. The hours were super convenient for my work schedule, and I loved that healthy meals and snacks were included. My son's time here really helped prepare him when my youngest was born as he learned being gentle around the younger kiddos.
