What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

Our son started at Daisy Child Development Center in Fall of 2025. The children are the center of everything they do. Their safety, needs and development are top of mind for all of the instructors. But almost as important, he has so much fun everyday. He comes home tired and talking about his favorite teachers and friends. We love Daisy and all the teachers!
Shannon NoelJul 21, 2026Our daughter was here for 2 years and we feel so grateful for her time at Daisy. There are wonderful outdoor play structures (with some shade!! An added bonus for sun protection), great animals (my daughter misses the birds that were in her classroom), yoga and music classes the kids love, and a staff dedicated to their well-being and enrichment. Would definitely recommend to any prospective family
bellamy fordDec 4, 2025I am the surrogate grandpa for a three year old boy who as been going to Daisy Chldrens' Development Center for 12 months and am tremendously impressed with the start on life that they are giving him. Previously, he had been at daycare for over a year and I think they did a good job with the kids, but myself an several other parents felt that the owner was rigid and difficult to deal with and a cause of stress for both parents and children. Mom and her partner and I are SO happy with the care that he receives at Daisy. It is a larger school, so he has much more chance to socialize with a wide range of age, gender, personality, and race, but without any sacrifice in loving individual care and education in art, music, verbalizing, games, with the added advantage of exposure to the chickens, goats, ducks and other animals, when he previously had been a bit fearful. They do an excellent job of candidly discussing any issues, giving frequent updates on evaluation and progress which is so important to allay any concerns that parents might have for how their child is progressing. In addition to the great care, we are most impressed with the genuine loving care of the owners and all the employees. My friend is a single mother and sometimes is slightly late, and the owner stays around to play and, more important, is genuinely understanding and relaxed without any complaints... Daisy is definitely great with the kids but also with the stresses of parenting to get to know parents. It is so comforting to know the great care his receiving. Art ''grandpa" Riggs
Art RiggsDec 2, 2025Our son has been at Daisy for 2 years now and he truly loves it, always chatting about his friends and how much fun school is. There is a great mix between a lot of outdoor play time (important for our energetic kiddo) and indoor learning time. Fey and Irfan are a great team.
Rachel McIntoshNov 15, 2025My daughter started at Daisy last fall and I can’t commend enough the great job Fey, Irfan and the teachers are doing. My daughter went from crying when I dropped her off to crying because she has to go home; she is having a wonderful time there. She has grown to communicate and express herself well and telling me about her friends and the goats and chicken she plays with. They have a wonderful facility with outdoor space for the kids to play. I love that they spend time outdoors engaging with nature. We feel very fortunate to have found Daisy and most importantly seeing that our child loves the places and is developing well.
Jones Udo-akangJul 15, 2025Daisy has been a place of great development for both of my children, both socially and in laying academic foundations. The teachers care about (and are well loved by) the kids, the outdoor space is fun and varied, and the whole experience feels very personal, quirks and all. Bonus points for goats & chickens, and proximity to on and off-ramps.

Questions parents ask about DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Is DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds California licence 013421334, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on August 27, 2013. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER hold?
- California licenses DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER care for?
- DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER is licensed for up to 71 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- California records 2 inspection visits to DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, the most recent on February 18, 2026 and the earliest on record June 29, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER in response to a complaint?
- California records 8 complaint-driven visits to DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for DAISY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- The licence is held by FEYROUZE CHUNARA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Alameda County.
