My wife and I decided to check out this neighborhood school conveniently located next to our Marina Safeway near the beautiful Fort Mason area. His attention, focus, and growth in all areas has been astounding to see with the Montessori method. The staff are very experienced and stick to the principles and methodologies of Montessori. They are so passionate, calm, and patient with the kids and let them make mistakes and guide them through focused lessons when they need help. At such a young age, our son has gained a ton of respect for his teachers, and is excited to go to school and learn the next lesson, or master a subject he was working on. All the kids are so bright and talented. At age 4 our son is writing cursive words already and counting and adding numbers beyond 100. He’s learning foundational math, communication, and science skills way beyond what I expected kids at his age are capable of. The most rewarding thing we see is his attitude at home change. He is more willing to be independent, has become more polite and courteous, improved his disciplined, and feels happy. It’s tough being a parent and finding the right school could be very stressful. Guidepost Montessori has been a huge help to our son, which makes it a huge help for our family. 5 stars all the way!!!
