Id like to start off by saying that my now 9 yr old daughter attended this school back in 2019 and she excelled after her speech delay diagnosis. I now have a two year old ready to start preschool and when I called and spoke with Ms Rosie, I was happy to hear that she was still running the site as she did a great job in the past. Upon my arrival to tour the school, with my paperwork filled and ready to enroll in hand, I walked into a scene of a male teacher yelling and I mean YELLING at 3/4 yr old students and I thought “wow, that’s a bit rough” and then I witnessed him grab a little boys shoulder and yell at his face “NO MEANS NO, do you understand?”. I was shocked and when the school administrators including Ms Rosie met me, I immediately expressed my concerns and while Ms Rosie reassured me that the children loved him and that maybe it was his MILITARY BACKGROUND that made him seem stern. That absolutely made everything worse for me because it felt as if it was brushed under the rug, even by the adults. I told them I’d talk this over with my husband but I was hesitant of enrolling my daughter after what I witnessed. I went home and did major research on the male teacher and immediately RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE. I went through his PERSONAL social media accounts where he has multiple pictures of the children, I mean HUNDREDS. Some of the photographs were while the babies were sleeping and eating. Mind you, my concern was “why are you photographing these children all day long from your personal phone?”. My guard was up and it was high. The next morning I called Ms Rosie and I explained I was concerned for the safety of the children. I had gone through the enrollment paperwork where it states if and when children were recorded or photographed it would be for school websites and events NOT PERSONAL SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS. I told Ms Rosie I’d be making a public review and she did tell me they would look into the issue and would keep me informed on the outcome. I will update my review IF I receive any updates.
