What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • This organization does NOT care about your children’s well being or safety. They have very young teacher who don’t stay in the location and leave for better jobs every year. The staff is a revolving door because even they know how horrible this organization is. Things that are horrible: 1. They have way too many children enrolled vs teacher/adults 2. The place is filthy and your children will come home with black dirt all over their clothes 3. If you due back any refund or money back, they will take over 4 weeks and not prioritize getting your money back. They will gladly TAKE your money but they don’t care about returning back the money you are due. This Summer in 2026, there was an outbreak of head lice. The policy at Rainbow Rising is to just check visually for the presence of head lice and allowed anyone to return back to the program if they can’t SEE any lice. There were 2 kids that had contracted head lice and one sibling who did not show signs of head lice. The problem with this is that there is a very high risk of this 3rd child to contract head lice from the other 2 siblings because they live in the same household. This program allowed this child to return back to the summer program the very next day and put the entire staff, all other children, and all their families at risk of contracting head lice every single day. the very next day. They DO NOT care about your child’s safety or your family’s. DO NOT send your children here and find another place that actually cares more about your children and their own staff over their money!

  • I will talk about my experience with them it's long time happened but I'm really can't forget it. Almost 3 years ago two situations happened first I got a call from them during my work telling me my son sick if I can come to pick him up I came i found they left my son alone far away from everyone has fever crying from the pain no one from the teachers around him they was yelling on him to be quiet and stop crying I took him to the ER and I found out had covid. Second situation same thing called me to come pick him up because he fell when he was playing on monkey bar same thing no one around him take care of him or checking on him they just asked him stop crying and screaming when I took him he was broken arm and they just keep asking a kid with broken arm stop cry and screaming.

  • Absolutely a great program for any child. The staff is very supportive and responsive. You can tell they genuinely care and the children trust them. They actually want to stay until the very end every day!

What kind of child care licence does RAINBOW RISING - COLLEGE PARK hold?

The licence is held by RAINBOW RISING. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Orange County.
