They take such good care of our kids and have a wonderful staff and environment. Highly recommend. Thank you!
ClayJan 12, 2026This day WAS an amazing school at the start my nieces and nephews both had gone here. When they found they were being moved to a different daycare for lack of communication, poor care on an infant they treated my sister in law and her children differently, giving dirty looks, snarky comments and so much attitude. When the baby needed to be changed EVERY HOUR they did every two, they didn't put on her cream when supposed to and let her rash get super bad. There last day they kept her bottles and the cream they said "they didn't have". This center will love your children til they decide to leave, choose carefully if you plan to put your children here. Or if you put them here don't leave because they will treat you and YOUR KIDS like crap. Very disappointed in a school I highly recommend to families, absolutely disgusting how they treat people and CHILDREN.
Rebecca LunaOct 9, 2025Trusting your children to someone else every day is a serious decision to make. I’m so glad we chose back to basics! They love our children, and our children love them! They get plenty of outdoor, music and art time, and they offer a variety of foods for meals and snacks. I know that my children are well-cared for there.
Chrissi NikkelOct 9, 2019Best daycare in Longmont, hands down. My daughter spent two years at B2B, and we loved it! It's been almost two years since, and my daughter still talks about how much she misses them! They have a wait list currently, but if you have the luxury of waiting, do it!! Your babies are in excellent, capable and loving hands!
Erika Bennett (Starr)Feb 11, 2019Today (8/14/18) is my son's last day at Back to Basics since he's ready to move on to Kindergarten and we're extremely sad that he finally has to leave! He's gone there for the past 2+ years and has had the best experience we could've asked for. Annette, her husband Keith, her daughter Abigail, and their entire staff have left a resounding impact in our family's life. My son is bursting forth in confidence, ready to continue his education, teeming with knowledge and curiosity. B2B has helped shape and mold his brain into an ever growing sponge of learning and discovery! He starts kindergarten in 3 days and is more than ready to keep shining, all in part to the wonderful curriculum and environment that B2B has fostered and nurtured around him. From the first moment we stepped into the building and felt the overwhelming sense of homely community inside we've been so thankful for their important role in making our son the sweet boy he is. Back to Basics has been one of the best choices my wife and I ever made for our childcare decision. We are so grateful for their excellent and loving care they consistently provide. I would recommend them to any one in need of daycare. We will miss them all so much! :) Thank you Annette and company for who you are and all you do! We will never forget you!!
Tom DiceAug 14, 2018My 5 year old has gone here for about 2 years & my son has gone since he was 9 weeks old (he is now 16 months) and both of my kids absolutely LOVE this place! My daughter did 1.5 years of preschool and didn't learn much.. went here and knew her a,b,c's within the first couple months! They are very interactive with the children, they do lots of art work & fun things with the kids! There's a stretch and grow person who comes once a month & a music man who comes too. It's so awesome & they have such a great ratio with teachers to children. Very knowledgeable staff who actually care about your children and care to build a relationship with parents as well. Great meals & snacks. Last, but not least, they have very amazing detailed sheets about what your child does daily that you get at pick up every day! My daughter has gone to quite a few different child care centers & I've checked out many. Nothing compares to Back to Basics! Love them & all they do for my kids! I'm not sorry for my long detailed review, it all speaks the truth!

Questions parents ask about Back to Basics Child Care Center
How many infants and toddlers can Back to Basics Child Care Center take?
- Colorado licenses Back to Basics Child Care Center for 8 infants and 24 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Back to Basics Child Care Center?
- Back to Basics Child Care Center sits in the area covered by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County and the referral agency ECC Boulder Co. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Back to Basics Child Care Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Back to Basics Child Care Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
