My rising 2nd grade son attend camp for the first time this summer and words cannot express the gratitude I have for his amazing week there. He is no stranger to daycamp but this one is different! From the bus ride up singing silly songs, to the activities, team-building, friendships, and more...he could not have had a better week! Every day he got off the bus it was like he was he had grown leaps and bounds. He has had struggles with self-esteem and feeling capable due to some learning differences and camp provided enough challenge and support for him to feel independent, valued and seen for who he is. By the end of the week it was like we had a kid that grew 2 years emotionally! He is attending another day camp in the area through the Y that is similar (bus up and down the mountain) and while the activities have been fun, the depth of experience really doesn't compare to CMR. The staff at CMR are incredible and he still talks about his counselor Mickey! Our only regret is that we didn't sign him up for more weeks! Next summer, he absolutely will. Thank you all again for caring for my kiddo and we will see you all at the bus stop next summer!
Jackie StoneJul 30, 2025I was so very fortunate and lucky enough to have been able to attended super camp here throughout grade school, and to this day I tell people that it changed my life!!! It’s worth the hike up for your kids to have experiences you won’t be able to find anywhere else in the world with life long core memories that build good character. I HIGHLY recommend enrolling your kids here even if it’s for one week day camp, or a focus group. I also LOVE that it’s been operating for over 70 years by the same family running it today. You won’t find anywhere else that has not only a turn key, organized, professional establishment but that’s run by heart, soul, love for the outdoors, community, respect for one another, and tradition.
K ANov 18, 2024My boys (11 and 15 year old) went to the summer camp for the 1st time and absolutely loved it. They loved the activities, they loved the stuff. This might just become a tradition;) Thank you Colorado Mountain Ranch for an amazing experience and memories!
Denisa BurrJul 20, 2024My company worked with Colorado Mountain Ranch for the first time for a wedding in October. It's a really pretty mountain venue that feels so homey and comfortable! With multiple spaces it makes for a great wedding day venue. Lynn, the venue manager was so fantastic to work with. She went above and beyond to create a great day for the couple, and I cannot express how much I appreciated her communication! Their on site staff, full kitchen and shuttles are such a bonus and helped the day run so smooth! The couple loved it here, it couldn't of been better!
Katie GlassmanNov 14, 2023My daughters have gone there every year (except the Covid year) since they were 7 -- they're 17 now. For one of my kids especially, it is probably her favorite place in the world and the source of the best memories of her childhood.
Alden PerkinsJun 23, 2023We had the pleasure of having our September wedding at The Colorado Mountain Ranch. Our experience was nothing short of fabulous. From the beginning Gail and Lynn made the entire booking and planning process a breeze. We opted for the Blue Spruce package which included use of the outdoor Amphitheater overlooking Longs Peak for the ceremony and the classic Ponderosa Log Lodge for the reception. A Bridal and Groom's Suite was also available. The ranch even sets up a ceremony site inside at the top of the lodge should the weather take a turn. Not only is the space simply gorgeous but the team is so accommodating. I didn’t feel the need to do too much decorating as the lodge and outdoor amphitheater truly are lovely on their own. The lodge recently made upgrades inside and out, most notably the large porch w/ phenomenal panoramic views which made a perfect spot for our guests to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and live music. Tables and benches were provided as well as tables for gifts, favors, the wedding cake, the buffet and hors d'oeuvres. The ranch worked directly with our vendors answering questions and giving direction. Because the planning process was so smooth, the actual day of our wedding, I was so relaxed, because I had full faith in the Colorado Mountain Ranch. The Walker’s are dedicated to seeing that everyone has a great time and falls in love with their home! Friends and family are still talking about love and positive energy that was felt at The Colorado Mountain Ranch! Thank you for the most unique wedding experience. We will never forget our magical day! We are so grateful! xo, The McLaren's
