Really beautiful garden with plenty of trails for an enjoyable and leisurely walk. Lot's of educational plaques explaining various plants in the gardens. There's a neat little play area too
Samantha LundquistJul 11, 2026My day at the Denver Botanic Gardens was one of the highlights of my trip. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the entire garden is incredibly well organized with easy-to-follow maps and pathways. There is so much to see that three hours wasn't nearly enough time. I especially appreciated the many shaded areas throughout the property, which provide the perfect place to sit, relax, and reflect between exploring the gardens. The themed gardens offer something for everyone, from the peaceful Japanese-inspired gardens to the striking dry desert landscapes. The Monet-inspired garden was particularly magical and romantic. The tropical treehouse area is also worth visiting, with plenty to see and learn along the way. The gardens do a wonderful job of blending nature, education, and art, with rotating artist exhibits and gallery installations adding another layer to the experience. There are great dining options on-site, and the café was delicious. If you're visiting during the summer, be sure to bring SPF and a hat. Thankfully, the gardens provide ice water stations throughout the property, which were greatly appreciated on a warm day. Whether you're a plant enthusiast, photographer, art lover, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, the Denver Botanic Gardens is a destination well worth visiting.
gevorg cholakyanJul 7, 2026Denver Botanic Gardens, Chatfield Farms was the perfect choice for my daughter's June, 2026 wedding! It is the most beautiful and photogenic setting, and it easily/comfortably accommodated our guests (about 135, although they can easily seat more). Abby was our on-site planner and was professional, knowledgeable, responsive and easy to work with throughout the year of planning and until the moment we left the venue at the end of an exceptional wedding day! Highly Recommend!
Andrea CullenJun 24, 2026The corn maze was so much fun — definitely challenging, but in the best way! The scenery was beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food and games made it feel like a mini festival. Loved that they also had a kids’ maze. Totally worth the trip!
Osama AMay 18, 2026Charmed by the nostalgia, impressed with the new. Bonus: found new planting combinations esp for my dry eastern Washington area. Beautifully maintained, easily traversed paths are ideal for both short strolling and farther, faster walks. Includes a unique botanical labyrinth. Enjoyed it in the company of a preschool group, vacationers of varying ages, and seniors. A well- spent $11 senior rate for 1 1/2 hour meander, with still more to see. Would return again.
gwen shipleyMay 15, 2026I attended the Lavender Festival earlier this year and loved it! Lovely lavender fields and awesome vendors. The entirety of Chatfield Farms is just fun to explore as a working farm with lots of historic touches. I also attended the Pumpkin Festival in the fall and found it was too crowded for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it. I don't think I would go to the Pumpkin Festival again, but I would definitely attend the Lavender Festival again.
