  • Thank you so much for everything you all do at Mountain Resource Center. God bless all of you and your families always 🙏 ❤️

  • When walking in you are always greeted kindly with a smile on their face and there always seems to be a sale to the already more than reasonable pieces of clothes. The only downfall I would say is the lack of more “trendy” and /or teenage like clothes. There seems to be mostly just adult and clothes for small children, I would also love to see an expansion in the men’s winter cloth section. Other than that I visit frequently and always seem to find something I enjoy and wear often.

  • I am a veteran seeking help while in a rough season, I reached out to a company for help, and they referred me to mountain resources. I emailed/call a Michael several times, and no response I didn’t get a response until the referral had to reach out to him and then he responded. He let me know that they could help and gave me an amount and said they will help if DougCo doesn’t have funding, had me send my dd214 and ID to start I was extremely hopeful. Days went by no response so I reached out. He let me know that he still hasn’t had a response from Douglas County and if I’m facing eviction to reach out to another company. I was sure that they would help since there was no response from DougCo. This company gives false hope of receiving help with no real intentions, Michael is very uninterested in helping anyone and was extremely rude and unsympathetic. A shame this company is the worst if your a veteran seek other resources!

  • I’m not one to post bad reviews but I feel like I need to say this. In November 2023 I went in and met with someone for rental assistance. Let me put a little information in before going in. In November 2022 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor I continued working full time plus over time until the middle of 2023 when the symptoms became too much so I had to reduce my hours at work. Turn in November 2023 I injured myself at work with resulted in surgery. Also I am the soul provider for my mentally ill adult son. Now in November of 2023 I went in and applied for rental assistance and was approved for assistance. The check was supposed to be sent to my landlord. He never received anything. I emailed, called and left voicemails and have not received and answers. My landlord has called and also left messages which never got return calls or emails. It is now January 2024 my landlord is about to start the eviction process and I have still not had any luck reaching Michael from mountain resource center. To give false hope to people who are in serious need of help very wrong and unprofessional. I have always been one to help everyone I can do it was very hard for me to go in and tell a perfect stranger my personal information to try and get help was extremely hard for me. I have still yet to hear from Michael. Maybe it was an oversight I don’t know but I know that while my son and I get excited Michael will not loose sleep I’m sure. I pray that this does not happen to anyone else that goes there for help.

  • Great Organization that really cares about the Community

  • It pains me to say that I have looked over the books for this organization and found them questionable. Salaries have nearly doubled in recent years with no increase in revenue. When I asked the CEO to explain she did not reply. If you are looking for a squeaky clean organization to support I’d suggest Evergreen Christian Outreach.
