  • We absolutely love the New Horizon Academy in Denver. My son has been attending since he was 1 year old, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education he’s received. The teachers are so loving, patient, and truly invested in the children’s growth. I really appreciate the bilingual learning environment — my son has picked up so much Spanish naturally through their daily activities. They also send lots of photos throughout the day, which makes me feel connected and confident that he’s happy, learning, and having fun. It’s clear that Ms. Ruby and Ms. Yami put a lot of thought into what they do, from the educational lessons to playtime and social skills. They are the best! Highly recommend!

  • We love New Horizon Academy! The staff is friendly and takes great care of our daughter. She gets so excited to see her teachers Jackie C and Jackie P at drop off! They regularly communicate through Procare which is comforting as new parents. Would definitely recommend to other families!

  • We recently moved to Colorado and are very pleased with the services and the care this academy has provided for our children! They have been wonderful in helping my son prepare for Kindergarten and he has been so happy to go to school! I would like to especially appreciate Miss Ruby and Miss Yami for their daily efforts in caring for their class and how kind they are everyday in letting me know my son is doing well! My daughter has been also excited to go to school and she has been growing and learning in the little time she’s been here. Thank you to Mr. Cyrus and Miss Tabby for their constant support in helping her get ready for her future years! Great place overall, thank you for giving the kids the encouragement and support they need to step start their education journey!

  • Our daughter has been attending New Horizon Academy for three years and it’s been a great experience. She is currently in the Pre-K B class, and I can't say enough good things about Miss Ruby and Miss Yami. They are incredibly patient, professional, and create such a warm environment for the kids. My daughter genuinely enjoys going to school every day and always shares stories about her friends and the creative projects they do. It’s been amazing to see her growth over the years.

  • My daughter has absolutely loved her time in PreK-B with Ms. Ruby and Ms. Yami at New Horizon Academy! She attends their Spanish class twice a week, and it has been such a positive and enriching experience for her. Ms. Ruby and Ms. Yami create such a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for the kids. They make learning Spanish fun, interactive, and age-appropriate, which has really helped my daughter build confidence and excitement around learning a new language. She comes home eager to share new words and songs, which speaks volumes about how much she enjoys their class. It’s clear that they truly care about their students and are passionate about what they do. We are so grateful for the impact they’ve had on our daughter’s early learning experience and would highly recommend them to any family!

  • My child has had a great experience in this class. Ms.Ruby & Ms.Yami create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I’ve noticed positive growth in my child’s confidence and skills this year. Communication with families has been clear and consistent, which I really appreciate. They show patience, dedication, and genuine care for each student’s success. Thank you for your hard work and commitment—it truly makes a difference. I also want to give Mrs.Karol & Mrs Natalie a shout-out for always loving there kids and enjoy teaching them.

Questions parents ask about New Horizon Academy

How many infants and toddlers can New Horizon Academy take?

Colorado licenses New Horizon Academy for 20 infants and 47 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near New Horizon Academy?

New Horizon Academy sits in the area covered by the Denver's Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Denver's ECC. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does New Horizon Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows New Horizon Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
