  • I would not recommend the infant room based on my experience. The cost did not feel justified for the level of care and communication we received. I do want to highlight Ms. Danielle, who was great and made a positive impact. Unfortunately, the overall experience was inconsistent depending on staffing. When the other teacher was present, interactions felt less flexible and it didn’t always seem like parent concerns or preferences were fully respected.

  • We had such a wonderful experience at New Horizon Academy. The facility is beautiful, clean, and incredibly welcoming, but what stood out most to us was the staff. From the very beginning, they made my daughter feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. One thing that meant so much to me as a parent was that the staff already knew my daughter’s name when they first met her. That personal touch immediately made us feel valued and reassured. Their safety protocols also gave me a great sense of comfort and confidence. Transitions can be hard, especially with starting somewhere new, but she quickly settled in. It was smooth, positive, and handled with so much care. I also really appreciated the constant communication and back-and-forth updates. It made me feel connected and informed every step of the way. We are very grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and support we experienced here.

  • Our son absolutely loves coming here every day. We’ve had a great experience at New Horizon over the past year and a half since we enrolled our son as an infant. He’s always very well cared for like he’s their own. He’s had Danielle and Emma as his main teachers and they’ve always been so communicative, so responsive, and they always love telling me about his day. I also get so many pictures every day and he always looks like he’s having a blast. They have lots of varied activities for the toddlers, they’re always doing something new. It’s great seeing him start to develop little friendships in his class too. I couldn’t be happier with our experience here.

  • For those a you that’s having negative cmments about this place at least they’re moving kids around to make sure the ratio is right. There’s nothing wrong with that. They’re doing their job and they’re doing an amazing job. I will always keep my kids there. They’re clean their punctual and they’re very very good to the children and that’s what I look for.

  • Would highly recommend New Horizon Academy Ms.Evelyn and Ms. Bree are absolutely wonderful. I can tell they care for each of the kiddos in their class. They have made my 2 year old feel safe and comfortable she loves attending daycare. I like how I receive updates and photos from her teachers throughout the day. Over all a great experience with New Horizon Academy the staff always has a smile on their face. They are all friendly and welcoming.

Questions parents ask about New Horizon Academy

How many infants and toddlers can New Horizon Academy take?

Colorado licenses New Horizon Academy for 20 infants and 48 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near New Horizon Academy?

New Horizon Academy sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does New Horizon Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows New Horizon Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
