My experience with Primrose Daycare has been very positive overall. My son has been attending since the center first opened, so I’ve been able to see how things have grown and changed over time. Like any place, there have been some adjustments and transitions as the school developed, but overall the experience for my family has remained great. One thing I really appreciate is the communication. The staff does a wonderful job keeping parents informed about our toddlers—whether it’s updates about their day, incidents, or any specific needs they may have. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the teachers and staff are attentive and willing to communicate openly. Recently, I also enrolled my 7-month-old, and the teachers in the infant room have been exceptional. What made the transition even more comforting is that many of the teachers were previously part of my toddler’s class, so we were already familiar with them and trusted their care. They are patient, nurturing, and clearly experienced with young children. The school also does a great job creating a fun environment for the kids with holiday parties, parades, and special activities throughout the year. It really helps build a sense of community and excitement for the children. My only real dislike is that they don’t take the kids on field trips. It would be nice for the children to have those opportunities for outside learning experiences as they get older. Overall, I’m grateful for the care and attention my children receive at Primrose. The teachers and staff truly make a difference, and it has been a positive place for my kids to grow and learn.
YoBaddie BMar 6, 2026Primrose has been a great daycare for my child! Miss Danny is very kind and sweet with children and my child is always in good spirits during drop off and pick up!
Adaku OfoegbuNov 10, 2025Similar to John L. below, we had a similar terrible experience at Primrose. I was familiar with the brand and quite excited to start our child here due to the reputation and the aesthetic of the facilities. Prior to our child starting (as an infant - just over a year ago) we had paid the deposit, confirmed the start date via email and in-person. We requested a quick tour a few days before she started and it was agreed to. We showed up and no one knew who we were. They requested our child’s paperwork, which I had already sent via email and dropped off physical copies due to our child’s health issues) - so I provided it all again and showed them that I had already provided it. We requested to speak with the Director and had to wait awhile to be seen - and while apologetic, we made it clear that for the price tag we expected better organization and care. We all make mistakes and while these mistakes seemed glaring and cause for concern, we decided to be honest and provide a second chance. By the end of the first week, we had already been sent home with someone else’s breastmilk and were given little to no updates on our child’s day / progress. Part of the problem was likely the limited (English) language capabilities of teachers, but once again we decided to wait it out because the teachers were nice and caring. We requested better communication (we spoke to the director) and requested that they ensured our child’s milk (which was labeled appropriately) was given to her and we were sent home with it. As the next few weeks progressed, we had even more concerns come up - continued disorganization, little to no communication via text/app/email, and our child frequently coming home in different clothes and being told she threw up (which happens - but mysteriously it only happened as frequently when at this daycare). Eventually we decided to pull her when it became obvious that our concerns would not be addressed and that our child’s health was impacted. The decision was made all the easier when we tried to get ahold of the owner by phone and email multiple times and never received a response until we confirmed we would be pulling our child from the daycare. We have since moved on to a different daycare and the difference is night and day - clear communication, organized, daily updates, and our child’s health and abilities are flourishing. While I can hope these issues I’m noting above have been fixed, I would seriously caution any parent to request specific expectations for communication, security, organization, and the training of the daycare workers. For the price you pay for this daycare, you better be getting top tier service. We personally would tell any friend / family to avoid this daycare altogether.
Cristin MerkerNov 7, 2025My youngest daughter just started at Primrose and I am in awe with her teachers. When I go over to breastfeed I can always see how attached and comfortable the babies are with them; how knowledgeable they are about their needs and how much they care about their well being. I couldn't be happier. It was the very same experience with my oldest, who is still there and absolutely loves it. Also, I need to say that I read the whole review from the man giving this school 1 star (John Lucente) and I can attest he is completely untruthful about all of them except his interactions, which i can't verify Teacher Turnover: This claim is completely false. Most of the teachers from every class since my first daughter started are still there. Ms. Jennifer, one of the infant teachers who is absolutely incredible, is on maternity leave, but the new teachers for Infant 1 are incredibly sweet, competent, knowledgeable, and responsible. All the other teachers up to Classroom 7 are basically the same as before, and they are the most loving people. My oldest daughter is VERY attached to all her teachers, and she knows them by name. Another very important info about this is how amazing Primrose is at transitioning from one class to the other. They do it in the most thoughtful and gentle way. App Updates: Updates happen multiple times a day. With two kids there, it's easy to use the app for both. Photos keep coming, and updates occur in real-time. I know when my baby wakes up from her first nap because of the real-time updates and this is when I go breastfeed. Safety: The door code is managed through an app, not numbers, so kids can't memorize it. You set up the app, open it, and touch an icon to open the door. It's very easy and safe. For check-in and check-out, each parent or authorized person has their own code. Early Closure on Fridays: This doesn't happen unless it's a holiday, for which you'll receive at least two emails weeks in advance, and continuous reminders, along with visual reminders when you drop off or pick up your child. In sum, do not believe his review. Even the other 1 start review is only about front office, (which I never had big issues about, maybe there are things you need to follow up a couple of times), but as she mentions, the environment and teachers are great. I didn't get anything from Primrose to write this review and they aren't aware I am doing so, I just feel obligated because I feel the luckiest mother in the planet for having this wonderful school for both my children.
Sabrina FantoniMar 24, 2025I'm thoroughly impressed with the nurturing environment that Primerose provides for my daughter. The school's unwavering commitment to safety and education is truly commendable. As a parent, it's reassuring to know that my child is in capable hands, allowing me to focus on my profession without worry. I highly recommend Primerose to fellow parents seeking a stellar educational institution. Thank you, Primerose, for exceeding our expectations!
Clarissa MerinoMar 4, 2025We have had an excellent experience at Primrose. Our daughter started in Room 1 when she was three months old and we were very unsure of how daycare would go and if it was the right choice for our first baby. We couldn't be more thrilled with how it's gone. The Room 1 newborn teachers are INCREDIBLE. My daughter lights up at drop off and it's so clear the main teachers and the support staff are there because they love kids. They have created multiple opportunities to spend time with her there during the day, which has allowed us to get to know the teachers, the other kids, and their families better and it's such a lovely community. The communication from her teachers is excellent and the care is even better; it's so clear they love our daughter. There's no better feeling as a new parent than feeling like your child is safe and loved every day, and that's been our experience with Ms. Eyerusalem and Ms. Aisha and all the support staff. And, as a bonus, they send you cute little pictures throughout the day of your child doing activities which brings a smile to our faces when we can't be with her.
