  • I've sent my son to Talentos since he was 4 months old and we absolutely love it. The teachers are warm, loving, and nurturing. I was so nervous when he started daycare, but he loves his teachers and it's been clear from the start that they take wonderful care of him. The majority of his classmates have been there with him since they were babies, so they've really grown up together. It's a great community and I know we'll both miss it when he starts pre-school.

  • Where to start. We love Talentos. We have been there since early 2022, first with our older daughter and now our youngest. We were lucky enough to have friends recommend Talentos when we moved to the Takoma area in 2021. It was quickly clear how committed the owner and staff are to the children in their care, and how much joy and expertise they bring to the school. At drop off each day, the staff are genuinely excited to welcome our girls, and the delight our kids show when they see their teachers says so much. Their team recognizes that parents have different approaches to sleep schedules, solids, potty-training, etc., and they work with you to help create continuity across home and school. As others have mentioned, there has basically been zero turnover since we joined 3+ years ago, which I recognize as a marker of a happy and healthy environment. And it means the kids are with their same teachers each day. My oldest absolutely thrived at Talentos, which made me nervous for her to leave and start pre-K3. I shouldn’t have been, because Talentos gave her such a strong foundation that she’s doing great, and she LOVES returning to Talentos every once in a while when DCPS is closed. (Another perk, Talentos welcomes back the prior students for individual care days.) I could clearly go on! Talentos doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some daycares -- no app, no live video stream, no shiny new facility! For our family, Talentos focuses their efforts exactly where we want them: maintaining a safe environment and pouring love and attention into our kids.

  • I have had children attend Talentos since 2020. The turnover of teachers has been minimal. Most teachers have stayed for many years. The director is extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable of child development and well being. The teachers create a warm, safe, and fun environment for the children. While there is fenced-in outdoor space, they also take daily walks to playgrounds and occasional field trips. My children absolutely love it there and sprint to the door in the morning. My children have learned to speak and listen to Spanish. The parent community is also great - we have periodic get togethers and recently started parent board meetings to have more engagement and show support for the teachers. Absolute highest recommendation. If you're looking for childcare, call them immediately and reserve your your spot!

  • We feel so lucky to have found Talentos. Our son started at 6 months in 2022 and now our daughter attends. The Director has been there for over 13 years and provides a loving, stable and nurturing environment. In our almost 4 years at Talentos, there has been minimal staff turnover which can be hard to find at childcare centers. They have a great outdoor space for the kids to play and also take them to the local parks. My daughter runs to the door to put her shoes on each morning because she is so excited to go and even though my son is now in DCPS schools, he loves to go back and visit is his old teachers. Could not recommend them more!

  • Such a warm and welcoming place. The staff are so kind and attentive and it was clear from the very start that my son loves loves loves his teachers. We absolutely love being a part of the Talentos community because we know that the staff genuinely care about the kids. We are so happy with our decision to send our son here.

  • Talentos blew my expectations out of the water. Our daughter attended from 10 months - 3 years and has developed amazingly. She graduated fluent in Spanish and a strong independent thinker. I recommend Talentos to anyone and everyone I can. Don’t sleep on this amazing child development center in DC. Total Spanish immersion with the most caring, child- centered teachers around. They are no fluff, solid, and extremely kind and responsive. I still send Willow back when DCPS is closed.
