  • I pulled my children from this camp after just one day and would not recommend it to any parent. A camp for $350 per week I would be expecting my children to participate in a structured summer camp with activities and other children their age. Instead, my children were the only campers there, despite being told other children would be attending. Because there were no other campers, they were taken on a trip with babies from the daycare. My children told me there was little to nothing for them to do throughout the day. There were no meaningful activities, toys, or camp experiences that justified the cost. My daughter said they were not even allowed to color their own pictures because staff colored them and then claimed the children had done them. Another major concern was that my children were not fed during the day. My daughter, who is in second grade, also told me staff tried to force her to take a nap. Children her age do not take naps at camp, and she was uncomfortable with that expectation. When I questioned the director about what was going on and expressed my concerns, instead of addressing them, she told me that the camp was not for my children. She also tried to suggest that my 4-year-old son may need an IEP because he runs, climbs, and is active. As the parent of a typical 4-year-old, I found that comment inappropriate and offensive. After hearing about my children’s experience and speaking with the director, I chose not to bring them back after the first day. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this camp to other families.
