Our son has been at SAECC for a little over a year and he is thriving! The level of care and effort that the teachers and staff of the school give to their students (ie, "friends") and their families is exceptionally high. Every teacher (including those who are not my son's classroom's teachers) we see during drop-off/pick up take time to greet him and the environment is very warm. We receive consistent updates on the class's activities, which include a good balance of learning and playing (and learning through playing!) Every part of their day is thoughtfully planned and each child is celebrated. We hope to stay through pre-K!
Lauren InouyeSep 25, 2024I can't express how grateful I am for SAECC! From the moment we enrolled my child at 5 months (now 3), we knew we had found a special place. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put us at ease, and it quickly became clear that this center is dedicated to fostering both learning and emotional growth. The teachers at SAECC are truly exceptional. Their love and care for each child is evident in everything they do. They create a nurturing environment where my child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. My child has made incredible progress with his language skills and social interactions (e.g. expressing boundaries, sharing, sitting at the table when we're eating at a restaurant). The activities are engaging and age-appropriate, making learning feel like a fun adventure. It’s amazing to see how much they are developing socially, emotionally, and cognitively! I also love the open communication with the staff. They keep us updated on our child’s progress with quarterly report cards and are always available to discuss any concerns. It’s clear that the teachers are passionate about what they do and that they love the children. SAECC has become a second home for my child, and I'm so grateful we get to start another journey at the school with the newest addition to the family. I couldn't be happier with our experience. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a loving, enriching environment for their little ones! Thank you, SAECC, for everything you do!
Tina ChangSep 20, 2024Our family has been part of the SAECC community for nearly three years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our daughter has thrived here since she started, and now our son has just begun his journey. The staff and teachers at SAECC are incredible – they clearly love what they do and genuinely care about the children. My daughter, despite moving on to a new class, still insists that her best friend is Ms. Erlinda, her teacher from last year. It’s a testament to the deep bonds they create with the kids. One of the highlights for us has been watching our daughter look forward to going to school each day. She’s not only having fun but also learning so much, thanks to the fantastic enrichment programs like Spanish and STEM. She’s obsessed with the STEM teacher and comes home excited to share what she’s learned. SAECC's summer camp is another big hit in our household. While the twice-a-week water play can be a bit of a hassle for parents, the joy it brings the kids makes it well worth it. Each week of camp is filled with creative themes and fun activities, keeping the kids engaged and excited. If you’re looking for more than just daycare – a place that truly focuses on positive learning and social development – SAECC is the place to be. It’s far more than a daycare; it’s an early childhood learning center that has enriched our family in countless ways, and we’re so grateful to be part of this amazing community.
Tyler DashnerSep 20, 2024We have been lucky enough to be part of the SAECC community for over 3 years. We feel so grateful to have found SAECC when we moved to DC from New York. After exploring a few options, SAECC stood out to because of the warm communal environment, quality of the programming and wonderful faciliites – like the big gym which is great for movement during the winter season, and the brand new beautiful playground outside. One of the biggest things I was looking for, especially for this stage of the kids life, was a warm, supportive, and engaging environment. SAECC is 100% that community. The teachers know all the kids names, show so much love, playfullness and adoration, and make you feel so welcomed and supported as a parent. My daugther recently graduated fro Pre-K to a new school for kindergarten this year, and I am forever grateful this is where she started her school journey. She learned the values of compassion, curiosity, and community. Thank you to the SAECC team for all you do to help our kids grow & learn!
naomi hirabayashiSep 19, 2024We have two children at SAECC and couldn't be happier with the center. One of our children has serious dietary restrictions due to an autoimmune disease and the center has done an amazing job keeping her safe and healthy. We are so grateful for the loving staff, the enriching learning environment, and, most importantly, that I know my kids are safe and happy every day. I highly recommend SAECC.
Daphne MorrisonSep 19, 2024My family has had a wonderful experience at SAECC. My son is 4 and could have gone to his local public school this year but because of the superior attention, care, and enrichment that he receives at SAECC, I chose to keep him there (at a cost) until kindergarten. The teachers are the absolute best. Even teachers that have never had my son in their class know his name and greet him with smiles and hugs every day. It truly feels like a family. The facility is beautiful with an amazing new playground and access to the school gym for physical activities when the weather is bad. The classrooms are decorated with care, showing the teacher's and administration's commitment to creating a warm and welcoming environment. During the school year, the students have several enrichment activities, including weekly Spanish and twice-weekly STEM/STEAM in the cutest little science lab you've ever seen. This is the only daycare I know with a separate teacher and classroom dedicated just to STEM/STEAM! The summers are even more fun with twice-weekly water play, field trips, and special activities like science shows! I will definitely continue to send my son to their summer camp after he graduates from SAECC until he ages out. I would certainly encourage anyone looking at SAECC to schedule a visit to make their own determination. The love and community that exist are palpable upon entering the building and a visit is worth far more than a single angry online review from someone who admits to breaking their contract and being sent to collections and begins with this is "100% honest"...which is kind of like starting a sentence with "no offense"....
