  • I will preface this with the disclaimer that we do not attend this center. I was recently at a business nearby while the children were playing in the outdoor play area (at the corner of 40th and Brandywine) and felt compelled to share what I saw. Two teachers (both wearing all black with denim jackets) were completely disengaged, inattentive, impatient, and even rude to the children (who looked no older than 3 years old). When they weren't scrolling their phones (not paying attention at a busy intersection), they were speaking with forceful tones, expressing obvious irritation, and I witnessed several arm grabs that were more forceful than I would want anyone grabbing my children (yes, a 2 year old may stand up a few minutes after you told them to sit down -- they are in a play area and don't have long attention spans). I was surprised by their comfort operating this way in broad daylight and again wonder, if you don't enjoy children - WHY WORK IN CHILDCARE. I'll note that there was one teacher (operating in the play area upstairs/above the lower area) who spoke and operated with care, patience, and love, as you would expect with children that age. Hoping current parents see this and make the necessary adjustments. Personally, that would be my kids' last day stepping foot in that building. To the owner/operator/management: please do better.

  • we LOVE two birds. my son has been there for a little over a year and his development has increased exponentially since starting. the teachers and staff are freaking amazing. my son also has special medical needs so it is also really nice that i can work remotely from the parent co-working space if he has any emergencies.

  • It's been great having our 4 month old daughter enrolled in Two Birds! the onboarding was smooth and the team is very responsive! My favorite part is seeing updates and photos of my daughter throughout the day. We've had great childcare experience and it's very convenient for adults, the bright and well designed workspace is well suited for getting work done. Smart location in between home and work, downtown.

  • Our family had such a positive experience at Two Birds. They are organized, communicative, friendly and really focused on quality child care and creative ways for children to learn. The infant teachers were especially lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better first daycare experience and would highly recommend Two Birds to other families!

  • We chose Two Birds for our then six-month-old son only a few months after they had opened and the experience was top-notch. Not only do parents and children benefit from a clean, new facility, the teachers and staff manage to blend the line between professional and loving in the best possible way. My son was always so happy to go to nursery every day and get cuddles from teachers who genuinely cared about him. The perks of having things like diapers and wipes included in tuition made it so easy for me as a parent. You can tell that Kelsey and JD who run the facility are approaching childcare with new, modern eyes. They are looking for solutions for the parents of tomorrow. The co-working space associated with the center is a mini digital oasis. Delicious, local coffee on tap, chic, comfy spaces to perch and other working parents doing it all. I didn't hold a membership but instead chose to do drop-ins when I needed. An added benefit is that they allow you to host small meetings there - something I took advantage of a few times to great success. Their lactation room is so clean and convenient if I wanted to pop down to pump or pull my son out of class to breastfeed him. I cannot recommend Two Birds enough. After two kids, it's the highest quality care I've ever experienced. The community they're building of working parents is trend-setting and I expect we'll see a lot more like this in the future.
