  • My son has had an amazing experience at Kids University Capitol Riverfront over the past two years thanks to the incredible staff and leadership. They have created a caring, safe, and supportive environment where our child has grown both academically and socially. We are truly grateful for everything they do and highly recommend them to any family.

  • After 3-4 daycare center’s & pre-school’s we finally landed on one that meets & exceeds our expectations. Right away, they noticed how advanced our then 1.5 year old was, and moved him to the older class almost immediately, that was so appreciated, because they didn’t opt to hinder his growth, just to keep their class numbers up. Warm, welcoming, clean, great curriculum and enrichment, I will recommend this pre-school time and time again.

  • Our son has been enrolled here for 6 months and loves it, since he was 7 months old. He beats his arm in excitement every time we enter the building. You can see the teachers here really like kids and care well for them. They are very responsive and gladly work with us to navigate different changes as our son grows, such as nap schedules or going from milk to solids. As a first time mum, it can be hard to trust your baby in the hands of others but seeing our son so happy and bond with the teachers make this process easier.

  • Trusting your baby into the hands of anyone can be a tough and somewhat overwhelming experience, but is one that the University for Kids team steps into wonderfully. Tamika and the rest of her team are wonderful, kind, gentle individuals who have a true knack for childcare. Their team utilizes the Brightwheel app to keep you up to speed on your child’s progress throughout the day even while you aren’t physically there. Info that is sent in the app include the cutest photos and videos, diaper changes, feeding schedules, naps, etc., which provides an extra blanket of comfort while your little one is away. One item of particular importance to my wife and I was a schedule. We had spent a huge amount of time developing routines and habits, and the UFK team step into it masterfully. How they manage each baby’s schedule is a mystery to me, but it truly felt like there was little to no gap between home and daycare. While our time was shorter than hoped due to moving out of DC, we wish we could bring the UFK team with us, and I’m certain that whoever takes our spot will be in great hands.
