My 5 year went here for around 4 months to finish up Pre-K and for Summer Camp. I was called at least once a week if not more with reports that my child was having a "meltdown" and needed to be picked up. I had to leave work multiple times due to these calls. The final time I brought my son here was on Monday, June 29th. I was called to pickup my son that day close to 1pm because he was "destroying the classroom." My son had a scratch on his arm from Mrs. Sherry pinching him during the episode. Nevertheless, I paid the $150 for the week's tuition. I was called by the District Manager, Leo, almost immediately upon leaving with my son. Leo insisted that Sherry took responsibility for what happened during the episode, and he insisted I would be supported however I needed. I mentioned that I was driving an hour one way to take him to this location due to shared custody with his father, and was told I would be helped to set him up at a closer location. Upon taking him to the closer location in Smyrna yesterday, they had received none of my son's records from this school, or the tuition I paid which I was assured would be transfered. I kept my son home today confused about how to move forward due to how unprofessionally this situation was playing out. I called this location today and was told by Maria that the director Sherry had resigned a week ago and had withdrawn my son from their school, even though my son's father wanted to continue taking him there, as it was closer to him. Maria was disrespectful and raised her voice to me when I insisted that I was owed $150 tuition back because my son had attended camp for part of a day, was picked up early, and hurt by the director on June 29th. I told Maria I would contact Leo, the District Manager to get my money back and that's when she got rude. I told her I didn't appreciate her tone and she accused me of yelling. My son's father stopped by tonight to collect my son's belongings and suddenly, Maria was nice again, telling my son's father that I yelled at her and that the District Manager Leo told her my son could come back to their school and finish out the week. My son's father told her to call and tell me that and she told him she wasn't going to because I was "upset with her." I am beyond words with this entire situation. I don't want to take my son back to any of the locations because there isn't clear communication between one location to the next, and I am tired of doing THEIR job of transferring his information over to a closer location. At this point, I only want my $150 back. My son seemed to have more bad days there than good ones, and in the end, I was shown the true colors of Sherry and Maria by the way I was treated and the way my son was treated...like a burden. Of course Sherry withdrew him before leaving...that way, the school wouldn't have to deal with him and getting him setup elsewhere would be much harder than necessary. Thanks for being petty until the bitter end, Sherry.
Jen Viehl ShafferJul 15, 2026Convenience is not always best! My son had been going to this daycare since he was 6 months old. It was conveniently located close to our house but the services weren’t always the best. I would have to hunt for his items on numerous occasions when I arrived to pick him up. Sometimes he would have on another child’s diaper and the explanation was that his items weren’t brought in the room with him when they switched classrooms. He had been sick a couple of times since attending. The tuition rates went up every year and charged an enrollment fee every school year. Even though Ms. Sherry tried to help, it’s still overly priced and the rising cost was targeted to certain centers because the parents were paying on time which is more like a punishment. I had to take my son out of this daycare because Ms. Maria said they couldn’t control him, they didn’t have enough teachers, her teachers were speaking of quitting and the teachers are not certified to handle him with his behavior. She also stated that they would have taken the kids outside to play off some of their energy but it was too hot but just a few months ago she allowed them to go outside on a wet playground and my son’s clothes were soak and wet. All in all, I appreciate the convenience they tried to offer but it was inconveniencing me getting calls while I’m at work to come get him because he was getting sick at the daycare or couldn’t control him because of the lack of the number of teachers/certification of the teachers.
Teashia LewisJul 11, 2026As both a parent and staff member, I feel the need to clear up some of the confusion caused by reviews from people who left months ago and haven’t stepped foot in the building since. Yes, this center went through a rough transition over the summer — mostly due to the former administration that is no longer here. That team was removed at the end of August, and the center has been under entirely new leadership since September. Anyone talking about conditions from before that simply isn’t describing what this daycare is today. Ms. Sherry and Ms. Maria have completely rebuilt this place from the ground up. They’ve hired qualified teachers, created structure, established expectations, and brought the calm, supportive environment our kids deserve. Behaviors that used to be constant are now minimal because the staff actually know how to handle situations with positive guidance instead of chaos. And let’s address the cleaning comments, because that’s been thrown around a lot: every classroom has a posted cleaning checklist. It’s the teacher’s responsibility to follow it. If someone chose not to do the job they were assigned, that’s on the individual, not the daycare, and definitely not the leadership we have now. Under current management, those checklists are followed, monitored, and enforced. The center today is clean, organized, supported, and genuinely thriving. The kids are learning, the staff is stable (they don’t call out constantly like previous employees) and the difference is obvious to anyone who’s actually here. So before anyone takes months-old complaints at face value, come tour the center and see what it really looks like now. The transformation is real, and it’s honestly impressive. CNI 339 is the best!
Erin LesterDec 10, 2025Do NOT take your kids here. It’s unsanitary, unsafe, understaffed, the new management team is unprofessional and rude. They have made up fees, and they have no summer program but still make you pay extra. They will not let you see camera footage WHEN your children get hurt. It looks nice but please don’t judge a book by its cover. My children cry to not go. I can’t wait to remove my children from this daycare.
Ashley BeechamSep 12, 2025My nieces go here and they absolutely love it! The environment is so joyful while also focusing on the well being of the kids who attend here. The teachers are so kind and loving and always go out of their way to make it safe and fun while also educational for the kids. Miss mandy and Miss Lacee always stick out to me the most because they really are just so wonderful with every kid around them and it’s just nice to know your kids/loved ones are in a safe and cleanly environment.
Kayshie LindseyApr 12, 2025If you’re looking for childcare, stop here! This place is AMAZING! My daughter is 3 and has always loved going to “school” here. The staff is incredible! Mandy, the assistant director, is an angel! She always greets her parents and children. I had 1 small concern 1 time and she addressed it quickly. Miss Lexi is my daughter’s teacher and she is the sweetest girl to her class! Go see Mandy and staff, here! I can’t recommend it enough!
