  • Everybody up there is loving and caring.

  • My child attended this daycare from April through August, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The center often opened late, and when it finally did, I was frequently delayed at drop-off because a staff member insisted I sign my child in—yet the sign-in sheet was rarely ready or even available. This caused me to be late for work on several occasions. That same staff member also told me I could not bring my child’s plant-based milk, even though I had a doctor’s note. I found this lack of flexibility concerning, especially since it involved my child’s health. Pick-up was another ongoing issue. There were many times I stood outside for 20+ minutes waiting for someone to unlock the door, and on two occasions, I had to knock on the window to get their attention. This was frustrating and felt unsafe. There were also repeated problems with my child’s personal belongings. He was often sent home in clothes that weren’t his, or his clothes would go missing altogether. His pull-ups were even given to other children, and sometimes he was put in girls’ pull-ups instead. When I asked about it, I was told it was because I hadn’t written his name on each pull-up individually. This should not have been an issue, especially since I was told at the start that every child would have their own cubby to prevent these types of mix-ups—another promise that wasn’t followed through. On top of that, I was told by the owner that cameras would be installed and teachers would have iPads to provide updates, photos, or videos for parents. None of these promises were ever delivered. There were no updates, no communication when my child needed supplies, or even when he had small injuries like falls or scratches. I raised my concerns multiple times with the owner, Miss Rita, especially about the disrespect I experienced from Miss Flora. Instead of addressing the problem, I was told that no one else had complained. Nothing changed, and the treatment I received remained the same. That said, I do want to acknowledge Miss Johnny and Miss D. Their kindness and care did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate the way they treated my child. Because of everything else, I never had peace of mind while my child was there. The lack of professionalism, communication, respect, and accountability made this daycare a very poor fit for us. I cannot recommend it to other parents. I pray the center improves, because no parent should have to go through what I experienced.

  • This daycare is okay. I would say don’t waste your money with registration and tuition. My daughter was here for only a month and a half. Before the admin decided to remove her. She didn’t even give us time to atleast work out the issue with my daughter’s behavior. She notified us on Monday about the issue saying it’s been happening for a while. She stated she’ll have her until Friday and if her behavior doesn’t improve by Friday she will be removed. It doesn't take a child 4 days to improve behavior it takes more time. By Wednesday she called me to pick her up and to be dis-enrolled. The administrator blames my little for running away her staff. In reality the teachers probably leave because they not getting paid enough. I’m not saying my daughter is perfect and is manageable but to blame her saying this is the reason why her staff is leaving is crazy. While my daughter was here I didn’t see any issues really. The facility is beautiful and I love the uniform aspect. But just be mindful on why there are not enough children. Which you may think is a good thing and think the kids may have more one on one time but no. She runs the kids out and keeps the “good ones”. The admin also doesn’t know how to talk to people. The teachers are lovely but the administrator is something to beware of when it comes to tone and communication. We pay good money out of our own pocket to be talked to like that. Crazy.

  • My daughter is a student here and she has blossomed since she has been with Ms. Walker. Ms. Walker is a wonderful teacher. I absolutely love the director and the other teachers there as well. There is always communication at all times. Kings and Queens Academy really do care for their children. I would definitely recommend 10/10!!!

  • Kings and Queens Academy is one of the best decisions I made for my children. I’ve never attempted putting my children in daycare until I found this place. My 4 year old has his instructor Ms Walker. She is sent from heaven. My baby so stubborn and can become uncooperative. She is so strong and ready for any challenge when it comes to him. He always comes home happy and tells me he’s had a good day. Even if her report says that he was acting up a little. She is so understanding, and helpful, and has truly assisted with the positive development of my son. My household cherishes Ms Walker for sure!
