  • OPA is a well oiled machine. My wife and I always know what is going on at the school and in each of our kids' classrooms. Every single teacher is friendly and my kids are always kept busy. Every daycare needs a Nikki Wright at the helm.

  • My son kept pink eye because they let other children come back who had pink eye. They wanted me to come into work and bring my son in when he had Covid. The staff vapes in the facility. Some of the staff are hateful to some of the children. I don’t recommend sending your child here. I was a teacher there and seen it all first hand. They all act nice and kind until the parents leave, then a switch turns on and they become very hateful. I’m sure they will try to discredit my review, but send your child to OPA 1 at your own risk.

  • OPA has been awesome for my kiddos! The directors and teachers are all so informative and I never have to wonder what kind of day they had. The curriculum is wonderful and I am constantly amazed by all the new things they are learning. My boys look forward to going to school and it makes my momma heart happy to know they are in such great hands!

  • We love OPA! Our son has been there from nursery a and is about to turn two. We have loved every teacher he has had and their love and care for him is obvious everyday when we drop and pick him up. I was a nervous first time mom when he started and they gave me a safe and loving place for him to learn and thrive while we work. He always surprises me with the things he learns at school while also playing and having a great time! They have been so careful and thoughtful through this last difficult year and for that we are thankful. I will confidently start our second baby in nursery a in a few months.

  • We love OPA so much! I was so nervous because we moved from an in home daycare situation but I had nothing to be nervous about! My son started in the 3s and my daughter began in Nursery A. All the directors and teachers know both of my children on a personal level and take such great care of them while also teaching them a well rounded curriculum. I never worry when they are at OPA because I know they are safe, happy, and being loved on!

  • 3 year old classroom-OPA is the best for working with parents so that the child gets the same style of behavior coaching at school and at home. Infant Classromm-OPA has the best teachers for the nurseries. We love getting the reports each day that clear show how dedicated they are to our baby.

Questions parents ask about Oconee Preschool Academy

Is Oconee Preschool Academy a licensed child care provider in Georgia?

Oconee Preschool Academy holds Georgia record CCLC-2326, listed as "Open" by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning in Oconee County. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov before enrolling.

What is Oconee Preschool Academy's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?

Georgia rates Oconee Preschool Academy 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. Quality Rated measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

Does Oconee Preschool Academy offer Georgia's Pre-K?

Yes. The state record lists Oconee Preschool Academy as taking part in Georgia's Pre-K Program, Georgia's lottery-funded programme for four-year-olds. Places are limited and enrolment runs on the state's own calendar, so ask the provider how to apply.

Does this page show inspection results for Oconee Preschool Academy?

No. Georgia publishes inspection and complaint history for each provider by fiscal year, and none of it is included here, so nothing on this page reflects Oconee Preschool Academy's inspection record either way. Look the provider up on the state's provider search at families.decal.ga.gov and read its visit history.
