This school is definitely a LAST result type of place. They will not consider your child’s own creativity, personality and learning abilities. They’ll put aside that and place them in a group setting. Where all children must act accordingly and follow rules. If not, they’ll be sent out. They don’t even try different methods or get to learn the child personally. You basically throw your child into a completely different environment with random people and they have to adjust quickly and figure out how to behave without natural defenses. There’s 10 plus children in a classroom, your child will not have 1 on 1 learning, they will not be seen individually, but instead, as a group. Don’t let your child act out, hit, throw a fit to communicate, they’ll want to “evaluate them” (Not included in your intuition either). My child was in class EXPLORERS, Donna is a money hungry director …. Yeah the school is enRICHing alright. No offer of help to my child and the teacher. Instead, she’d rather hire some more instructors and crowd them into a room because her teachers don’t know how to switch perspectives for each child. As EACH child is DIFFERENT.. they don’t see that though…. “Georgia Standards” Other than that the teachers have no personal say and seem like they get in trouble ALOT. Overworked teachers scared to death of the director. The only positive thing I have to say is CASSANDRA is AMAZING and I see why they put her at the front! Well…. Back to homeschool. No one will understand your child like you, save your money . My child is traumatized. If I even DRIVE BY the school he screams No please…. Smh. Also…. Even though they will tell you to come get your child for behavioral issues, they don’t care about the teachers safety, just your money. They’ll tell you withdrawal is a 2 week notice and I pay CASH with no problems. Keep the money, you’ll need it.
cryforminksApr 1, 2026I’ve noticed that the front desk staff often do not greet individuals when they enter. Instead, there is little to no acknowledgment, which can come across as unwelcoming. I’ve also observed similar behavior from leadership at times. This feels both unprofessional and discouraging, as a simple greeting can make a significant difference in creating a positive environment. It may be helpful to reinforce the importance of professionalism and basic courtesy with the entire team to ensure a more welcoming experience for everyone.
Kiana JOhnsonMar 19, 2026When I first arrived, I was greeted by the assistant director. At first, she was very polite but once she found out I was there for a tour at 4:30, her professionalism quickly left the door behind me. I went to this companies direct website to gather some information on the school and was instantly sold. When trying to book a tour they only had 4, 4:30 and 5pm slots. I definitely thought that was odd but it was my fiancés day off and we were already booked for the morning with other daycare tours. So, in my opinion it worked out. The director came out and said she would still do a tour but it would be "brief." She quickly went over the procedures and advised me to read bright from the start and their policies because thats what the school follows but she did not even attempt to show us the classroom or main areas (playground, cafeteria, etc). So unfortunately it was not a "tour" but a conversation in the daycare lobby. I was advised that before the "tour" that it would be quick but I feel like I was penalized for a mistake of the company. They were aware that their website had this scheduling issue and that it was not resolved and I feel like they should be prepared at all times for tours until it's resolved.
Royce HaywoodAug 8, 2025There are some good teachers which is the only reason my boys stayed as long as they did. Because the Turnover is HIGH. They never answer the phone. Communication to parents is terrible. The owner is condescending. They mess up and over charge accounts a few times a year.
Camille TaylorApr 21, 2025I paid the registration fee to put my daughter on the waitlist when she was 4 months. I called every few weeks to check on my spot in line (3rd on the list) and they told me, we will have space when she starts crawling. I called (every few weeks up to and…) when she started crawling to check my place on the list, they now said they would have space in the next couple of months. I called 2-3 months later to check my spot, they told me they won’t likely have a spot for her until she starts walking. She starts walking, I call, they tell me they will have a spot for her in the next few weeks or when she turns 1(which was 2 months away). So, I call a few weeks later to check on her spot, they say it will be another few months. I stop calling, eventually a couple of months later(after her birthday), I get a call, apparently they were negligent about the waitlist and new management found my daughters name and decided to call me because they see I’ve been on the list for almost a year. They let me know that they could’ve placed her a few months ago but for some reason previous management never let me know and at this time all of the rooms were full. They just called to see if I was still interested. As of today, I have been on the waitlist for over a year and I have had no correspondence. I am moving and am no longer interested. I believe this is a good school as it was referred to be by a close family member. My particular situation was just distasteful and unprofessional. I feel like I got scammed and as a single mom I don’t have funds for you to steal. I would NOT recommend Peachtree Academy, unless they have IMMEDIATE availability. Do NOT pay to be on the waitlist. However, I do recommend BRIGHT MINDS ACADEMY in Covington. Because of the negligence of this establishment, my daughter received loving and exceptional care from her teachers at Bright Minds.
TyJanai JacksonFeb 27, 2025We LOVE Prachtree Prep East! Our toddlers are thriving, learning, connecting socially, and looking forward to school daily. The teachers and staff are welcoming and truly love our babies. The director and owner take a warm and innovative approach to ensure our babies are in just the right classroom environment. Their speech, potty training, and ability to play with peers have been elevated since staring at this school. We are so thankful to be a part of the Peachtree Fam!

What is Peachtree Academy - East's Quality Rated star rating in Georgia?
