I cannot express how amazing this daycare has been for my children! From the moment we walked in, Mrs. Vicky, the center director, made us feel so welcome. Her organization and kindness shine through in everything she does. Her patience and understanding are invaluable, and she always keeps us informed, ensuring we feel comfortable. Honestly, she is one of the main reasons we chose this center. She fosters a loving, family atmosphere that is truly special. I can confidently say she is the best director I have ever met, running the place like a well-oiled machine! My child has been attending for just over a year, and I have zero complaints. Ms. Gabbiee, my daughter's 2-year teacher, is phenomenal! Every morning, my daughter literally runs to hug her, which speaks volumes about the bond they share. Ms. Gabbiee treats the kids as if they were her own, engaging them in crafts, learning, and a variety of fun activities that keep them occupied and excited to learn. My daughter is typically reserved, but she absolutely adores Ms. Gabbiee! Recently, my newborn started at the center, and Ms. Alyssa has made the transition incredibly smooth. She sends pictures throughout the day and keeps me updated on feedings, diaper changes, and his mood. This level of communication is so reassuring, and her patience with my baby is heartwarming. Additionally, the in-house chef, Ms. Jones, who has been with the center for over 20 years, creates delicious meals for the children throughout the day. I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a trustworthy, clean, and organized environment with professional and friendly staff. They offer the perfect balance of learning and play, making it an ideal place for children to grow and thrive!
Jasmine HornJun 1, 2026We’ve had such a positive experience with SEL from the moment we walked through the doors, we could feel how caring and dedicated the staff are. The teachers create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. My daughter has grown so much in confidence, creativity, and social skills from here. We’re so grateful to have found SEL at Warren Ave.
Abhijeet RoyNov 13, 2025I’m very pleased with the Grandparents breakfast this morning. The staff greeted each of the children by name. The infant room staff made me welcome and I noticed how much love and patience is given to each baby. Each staff person I met was professional and very friendly. The director was supportive and dedicated to making the grandparents welcome with her courtesy to everyone that entered. The breakfast was hot and delicious. I really enjoyed being there.
Brenda DavisSep 8, 2023Expectations broken!!!My daughter never been school before. This was her first time. No camara in classroom. A lot of high standards for pre-k. Was called daily to get my daughter for crying and spitting on floor while crying. Daughter was left in restroom upon calling me to pick her up hysterical crying while sitting on toilet it like the teacher didn’t give a dam. Who leaves a 4 year old crying on toilet? The teachers aren’t qualified for emotional support. Just had her sitting on toilet til I came. That was very heartbreaking for me and at that point I was done. I asked them doing orientation, are they able to deal with kids never been school. The response, “yes we see it all time” well. She only made it one full day and I was expecting to get feedback instead the Spanish teacher, say she did okay. Some morning her energy was not towards me no greeting or eye contact.I ask can you tell me what I need to work on. She then say oh she did this she did that. Nothing positive. I had high hopes for this center. My daughter use to cry before arrival daily saying she didn’t like it. She has speech delay. This center gave me one option to refer her to a school for special needs kids. What a slap in face. Instead helping with solutions to help with separation anxiety, my daughter was just on a hanger and labeled. Her very last day didn’t help because she seen a big roach. So that had me puzzled as well to the cleaning of the center, since the requirements are so high. Parents do your research. What seems well might not be as well. It seems they are just hiring zombies. My daughter is happy at her new pre-k center. No issues, no crying, no issues to what was “so called documented at Scottdale center. The funding for Scottdale center needs to go to properly training staff. Not to mention I was on waiting list for 3 years. Pre-k lottery she wasn’t picked I was on waiting list and a spot became available. The red flags was there. I just ignored them. My daughter is in speech therapy and is thriving. Her 5 sentence words where slurred. It makes me smile to realize my daughter feeling where met by her parents and supporting outside facilities. The love and support is there. Do your research. If it don’t feel right it not right.

Franziska BradleyJul 27, 2023Scottdale has been a blessing to me and my family. I have been in the Scottdale family for going on 8 years now and I couldn’t be any happier with my decision. Having two children (one that still attends). They are more like family. They are ALWAYS there when I need them even if it’s not related to my children . Mrs. Gibson the CEO is always available to talk to you . Her Door stays open at all times (unless she is is a meeting or something lol ) she knows her parents and students very well . Mrs. Mason always has a wonderful spirit when you see her, Mrs. T is wonderful with communication and being a breath of fresh air at the front desk . Jazz is always so professional and quick to answer questions and if she does not know the answer to find out the answer . The Teachers are PHENOMENAL and I mean that . Every teacher speaks even if your child is not in their class, and the food that Ms. Jones cooks is always so good. (I have tasted my self😊) . The building is always clean thanks to Mr. Dexter.. Thank you Scottdale For your service in the community.
