Ms. Denisha has always been sweet, genuine and straight forward even after my enrolling process. My 4 year old is in Ms. Carmen & Ms.Ashley's class which she loves and talks about them all the time. I'm a first time mom so I'm full of concerns and questions but I'm never left feeling that way because they are all very considerate and communicative! I love that they're always doing something fun for the children and I love the App that they have where I get to see pictures of Zacari having fun with her friends while I work. Also I appreciate how they feed the kids good LOL
Latisha R. VisionsApr 26, 2026My little guy has been attending for a couples months now and seems to be loving his time especially with Maria. I personally felt comfortable immediately and knew I was going to go forward with enrollment, the way all the teachers and staff treat the kids and even me as the parent. I dont think I could have found a better center for our family. If you need a reliable and trustworthy daycare center you really need to look no further. They are so engaged with the kids and my LO is an infant, we get crafts they've done sent home, pictures daily, updates throughout the day. I'm so thankful for my day care village! We love all the teachers in the infant area but Maria is exceptional!
Caitlyn BrownApr 24, 2026This is a terrible place I REPEAT TERRIBLE these grown woman that run this place don’t care about your kids at all ‼️‼️ every good review on here is written by a family member because the lady that runs this place has her daughter running and has her kids and her brother kids as well as a few other family members. I was lied to , I was told to come pick up my child more then once then hidden fees started to come out of no where when it’s not stated in the packet that they hand us. I had to deal with attitudes that where child like and I was disrespected to the fullest. I feel as if tho I saved my child from that place they dont clean up at all and when I mentioned it to the director the next day I could smell cleaning products and after that one day I didn’t smell it no more. The director doesn’t care so why should the students. I was told one day that the owner would stay till I get off work so I can pay tuition for my son she lied I got there was no where to be found but then the next day I’m getting checked as soon as I walked in the door on the phone about some money bc they wasn’t there to collect it. Are you kidding me yeah so I took my child out of there no hesitation because last time I picked up my son he was leaking wet threw his clothes and the lady that was watching him was at the door waiting for me to arrive so I could pick my son up last child to leave or not don’t neglect him needing to be changed that place will never see my money again and I will try to save any other parent I can when I make this video about there services
jazmine leeMar 30, 2026I first thought this center would be a good place as a mom with no village since they are 24hrs. I utilized their Saturday care almost every week from morning to evenings til about 5pm. One Saturday, the teacher called me saying that my baby was fussy & wouldnt stop crying. I later called back to check on my child & the teacher was very short with me which made me worry. Since I only worked about 7mins from the center my tuition told me to go & check on my baby to make sure she was OK. Upon entering into the building I was LOOKING for my child. I looked all around & started to get worried because I couldn’t find my baby. I even bypassed the ‘teacher’ as if it seemed like she was trying to fast talk me, distracting me from the fact that she was neglecting my child. Come to find out, that my daughter was placed in a crib, all alone, ACROSS the infant room on the other side of the building IN THE DARK by the exit door. The overseer was huddled with the other children & the TV music was blasting… As I walked upon my baby she was staring at the wall with a bottle in her mouth as she was put over there ‘to sleep’…. As an adult I wouldn’t even been able to sleep in an environment like that even if it was in my home. On top of that this center is very outdated & still hands out booklets of paperwork that I highly believe mine was lost because I filled out a few papers multiple times. I even was told I had to give them my yearly income even though I didn’t qualify for CAPS or Food Stamps. ( maybe that’s common but it seemed sketchy as so as many other things with this place ) They also tried to find an excuse to overcharge me $85 but I kept up with my bank statements & payments so I had to inform them that I was indeed in fact caught up with my daughters weekly tuition. After addressing concerns with front desk they turn out not to be so welcoming or friendly. Which towards the end of my daughter’s time here the energy just seemed to be very “high school’ & mean/ negative as I would just be stared at & not greeted back by multiple co workers. But as an active mom I do speak up for my child so , so be it. I definitely recommend sending your child to a smaller daycare with seasoned staff WITH experience because I genuinely don’t think majority of the staff has a passion for kids. I wish it wouldve worked out but I love my child & as a mom with no family in town this was very disappointing & disheartening that my now 10month old & even I had to experience this. I was even told by a worker that used to work here that they are very aggressive with children at times & yell that’s why she quit. That’s Something else that I also have witnessed (yelling/ raising voices at the toddlers to be exact). The babies are just in cribs if it’s an overflow of children just crying too at times but I can understand if it’s too much on one person so I never said anything. Just please be aware! I did have some sympathy from the owner regarding our Saturday situation which I do genuinely appreciate. But on the regular day to day I didn’t enjoy walking in & dropping my baby off. & the Saturday ‘teacher’ was suspended & sent home after I got in touch with the owner that same day but she is still there. She mentioned to me she doesn’t have kids but that still isn’t an excuse to why my baby was singled out & neglected because she doesn’t have the proper experience in this field. So no, I highly dont recommend Saturdays or just center at all.
Alyssa HollandFeb 5, 2026this is the 2nd daycare my boys have attended & i have nothing but great things to say. all 3 of us love Starlight & the staff. it’s always clean, the staff is so friendly & accommodating, & they send pictures of my kids through Procare throughout the day. this couldn’t possibly be a better daycare!
Payton GriffinDec 4, 2025My 2-year-old daughter attends Star Light Learning Academy in Kennesaw, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives there. The teachers and staff, especially Neisha, truly care for the kids and treat them with so much love and patience. As a parent, it gives me peace of mind knowing she’s in a safe, nurturing environment where her happiness and well-being come first. Every day I drop her off, I feel confident that she’s being well taken care of and learning new things. I have absolutely no worries when she’s there, and that kind of trust means everything. Star Light Learning Academy has been such a blessing for our family, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place that genuinely cares for their child.
