I can’t say enough amazing things about Astounding Academy! As a parent, you just know when your child is in the right place and this school is everything I could’ve hoped for and more. The staff is incredible, the environment is loving and safe, and the leadership truly cares about each and every child. The owner/principal is one of the most genuine people I’ve met she leads with love and purpose, and it shows in everything the school does. From the way the kids are treated to the quality of care, learning, and even the meals it’s all done with excellence. It’s also very affordable, which makes it even more special because you’re getting top-tier care without the overwhelming cost. I recommend this school a million times over to any parent who wants the absolute best for their child!

I just have to take a moment to share how AMAZING The Astounding Academy has been for my child. From day one, the staff made us feel welcomed, supported, and confident that our child was in the best hands. The environment is clean, organized, and full of positive energy. You can tell the teachers truly care—not just about safety, but about each child’s development and happiness. My child has learned so much academically and socially, and I’ve seen such a big difference in their confidence. Communication is also top tier. I’m always kept in the loop, and any questions or concerns I have are addressed quickly and professionally. As a parent, peace of mind is everything—and The Astounding Academy definitely gives that. I highly recommend them to any family looking for a place where their child will be genuinely cared for and encouraged to grow.

My family has been at the Astounding Academy since my son was 6 months old just a few months after they opened and he recently turned 4. We’ve had such a wonderful experience. The teachers have been nothing but kind, loving, and attentive. A huge thank you to Ms. Colbert, who has always been so supportive. The growth we’ve seen in our child has been amazing. As we approach our last full school year here, I’m already feeling sad that our time is slowly coming to an end.

The Astounding Academy is worth more than 5 stars. In fact they are worth all of the stars in the universe! We joined when my daughter was 6 months. The only thing I regret is not starting her sooner. From the parking lot to the classrooms, you see and smell the cleanliness, feel the love and joy all throughout the property, and the passion from each staff member. The director and owner Mrs. Colbert greets us every morning and evening for dismissal, keeps us updated with any changes, shows her appreciation and always available for whatever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this academy to everyone.

Untrained. Unorganized. Terrible communication from administration to staff. Not a place for infants— HIGHLY recommend randomly checking-in on your babies. Edit: After leaving a short but honest review I was left a very passive aggressive message by the owner, Mrs. Colbert saying that they took care of my infant & they couldn’t accommodate my “special requests”. TO BE CLEAR, taking care of an infant isn’t just keeping them alive for a few hours. And the only “special request” was to be updated on my child’s wellbeing after having to switch her formula. My negative review was given because while touring this daycare we were told we’d receive updates throughout the day— after the first week, updates were only sent upon request (or if they felt like sending them). You cannot call the daycare because the phone goes directly to voicemail. You must have a staff member’s personal number. UNORGANIZED . My infant had a new teacher almost every 1-2 weeks. And after being told she’d be in a room with just the 1 other infant— she was actually with about 5 very precious, but very LOUD toddlers. The UNTRAINED teachers were leaving my infant in soiled diapers for several hours (long enough to leak out onto her stomach during naptime). Diapers had been put on her incorrectly— leaving her in wet clothes. There were feces left in my child’s private area MULTIPLE times. I had to request for her bottles to be warmed & for them to burp and sit her up right. It’s not a special accommodation— that’s what you’re supposed to do with infants. Not to mention always losing something (even with it being labeled) and having to ask every staff member if they’d seen it or to help look for it… bottles, wipes, entire packs of diapers, burp cloths, bags, etc. I knew my infant’s last week had arrived after having to switch my baby’s formula due to a black/ bloody stool she had at daycare. I was notified about it at the END of the day. Too late to bring her by the pediatrician’s office. And after keeping her home & monitoring her for a few days— I went back to work and she went back to daycare. I requested updates/ pictures of her stools, per the pediatrician, and after 3 days, after asking 3 staff members, explaining why 3 times— we still received 0 updates. Our experience with the Astounding Academy has been VERY draining. I encourage all parents to find an open, honest daycare with TRAINED professionals. My infant’s new daycare even provides formula and puree, diapers, & wipes for a fraction of what the Astounding Academy charges while still receiving consistent updates + pictures & live camera footage! 1 star is generous ❤️! I WOULD NOT recommend this center for ANY age group, but especially not for infants!
