A place of care, understanding and patience. A place where children learn and grow in a clean, creative environment. The staff are so kind, helpful and truly caring for the children. The children are happy and excited to be there. Kindness and wisdom flourish in this child care center.
ColletteAug 9, 2024Always really gotten along with the staff, they are professional and our son loves them. We have used them for 4 years now with no trouble.
Will GillespieJun 26, 2024Having the opportunity to take an inside look at Thrive, I have seen this dedicated team work tirelessly to provide a safe, clean, loving, and intentional space for the children in their care. They go out of their way to communicate with families and provide tools for the growth and overall well-being of each child.
Cathy McElderryJun 24, 2024My daughter has gone to this center for 4 1/2 years! The director is incredible and very understanding of every unique situation. The staff is AMAZING! Every teacher my daughter has had over the last few years has been attentive, patient and caring towards her. This is a more than a daycare center, it’s a place that fosters education, caring for yourself and others, while providing structure to each child’s life. My daughter is very smart and well spoken from her time at this learning center. Daycare is expensive and this learning center makes sure you receive every penny worth.
Tori QueJun 24, 2024Thrive is a wonderful center with hardworking dedicated teachers. They are an amazing center dedicated to working with children who have behavioral difficulties or come from split homes. They have a behavioral specialist that partners with families to come up with the best plan for each individual child’s needs. While the wellness policy is strict, I appreciate that this center is willing to go to such lengths to keep both the children and teacher safe and healthy. I also love the curriculum they have chosen to use because it combines learning and play so the children are never bored.
Mackenzie RobertsonJun 24, 2024I partnered with this Childcare Service so that I could return to the workforce. I regret using the Thrive program for this. If you've got a career that allows for lots of disruption, then this place may work. We attended this program for about 6 months. We've used several programs over the years so I think we've got a good idea of how it should be. The teachers seem pleasant, if a bit young and inexperienced with kids generally. Seems like it's just an easy gig for most of them, not particularly interested in figuring out the kids and what they need. It's really expensive, probably the most expensive one in town. We had a big issue with temperatures and getting sent home quite a bit because of them. They use a highly inaccurate forehead thermometer, usually having to take several readings to get the one they want and ignoring the other ones. I have witnessed this. Of course, once you check with a real thermometer, they are almost always within the healthy range. If one of THEIR readings is too high, the kid gets sent home, you've got an hour to get off work (not to mention you've gotta check your email constantly at work) and get them picked up. Between that and these magical coughing fits that never materialize once the kids are home (but trust us, they were coughing ALL DAY) We decided that this Childcare Service was not for our family. They don't seem very trustworthy to me and half of what they say doesn't seem to align with reality. Which is a bummer, since the curriculum seems to be great and the teachers aren't terrible. When a lot of these problems were brought up to the director, she waved them away and said "You signed the agreement!" That's a big problem. They will use that agreement AGAINST you when they can. It's not a supportive document, it is used as a weapon. This Center is not prorated so, you'll pay the full amount no matter how many times your kids get sent home. It behooves them to send kids home, as often as possible. I only got the opportunity to work again for a few week before big problems started to emerge. Now I've gotta watch my kids again and quit my brand new job, since this place was hardly any help. This place was not fair to my family and I would not recommend it.
