  • Literally every other week. It's something new. They then have enough shirts. Now we have two shirts then it's like oh there's more forms to email around and then their messaging thing is literally littered with people and messages all day. It's so disorganized and they're just working off the heels of their shoes instead of planning and preparing. They have a lot of kids which also means they have a lot of resources but yet none of it gets put into play. Really disappointing the director

  • I have family in the area and when I visit from NC, this has been the nicest ymca I have visited. The staff and members are helpful and friendly and the hours are great.

  • We’ve been longtime members of the Plano YMCA, and the recent changes under the new leadership have been incredible. The improvements throughout the building are noticeable right away—it feels cleaner, more organized, and just overall more welcoming. What really stands out, though, is the staff. There are so many new friendly faces, and everyone we’ve interacted with has been genuinely kind, helpful, and accommodating. It makes a huge difference when you walk in and feel like the team truly cares about the members. The atmosphere has completely leveled up, and it’s clear there’s a strong focus on creating a positive experience for families and individuals alike. We’re excited to continue being part of this community and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to work out, bring their kids, or just be part of something positive.

  • I highly recommend the Fox Valley YMCA as a community focused organization dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and personal growth for individuals and families. It offers a wide range of programs that are supported by a professional and compassionate staff committed to serving the needs of its members.

  • I have recently found out that you can no longer pay to get in each day after 4 pm. You must be a member. As someone who would only go once a week there is no point in paying the membership fee. Plus why would I pay a membership fee when all I want to do is shoot a basketball for an hour or so once a week. It is the only place with an indoor court that people in the area can use. I work until 3:30 pm so it leaves me zero time to get there and do anything. It seems they have forgot what the YMCA stands for, instead are only worried about how much money they can make. We'll just like other comments on here, youve lost another person. Hopefully they get rid of the new CEO and get someone who cares about the people instead of filling his/her pockets. What a joke.

  • We love being a YMCA Family! Our kids have attended both ELA at Sandwich and Plano, as well as participated in swim lessons, mini gymnastics, and soccer. All of the programs are top notch, and the teachers are amazing. They also put on great programs for the community like touch a truck events, a Halloween carnival and more! We have really felt a sense of community with everyone we encounter through the Y, and are thankful to have them as a part of our village!
