  • Such a loving and trustworthy daycare! The staff truly cares about the kids, and my children have learned and grown so much here.

  • I love Grace's Place! The only thing stopping me from putting 5 stars is there is no camera feed. Aside from that, they are very attentive to any concerns I've had and my son absolutely loves being there !

  • if i could give this “day care” 0 stars i would; the really young, almost fresh out of high school girls, as teachers are NOT properly trained for crisis i.e. head trauma, bleeding or anything other than a bump. i whole heartedly regret ever giving this place any of my money for what they call “child care” they do not feed your child anything other than mild snacks. if your child is younger than being able to communicate i beg of you to look else where for child care, they lie about the teacher to child ratio leaving sometimes a class size of 8 to one single “teacher” i have seen a single teacher walking down the sidewalk trying to hold on to about 10 children under the age of 2 to walk back from the park. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE OR THEIR OWNER WITH YOUR CHILD I BEG OF YOU (the owner constantly likes to silence any negative comments or any critical reviews)

  • Don't leave your baby here. A maybe 9 month old baby boy was seated on the concrete inside of the fenced yard, and all he did was cry. None of these women were bothered to actually care for him or hold him. He just sat and screamed on the dirty ground while the staff gabbed with each other. Why is that baby even out there? Your baby is going to cry all day long there. Unacceptable.

  • If you love your child please don’t send them here. So many horror stories on grace and her sister and how they treat children from other mothers. I had to enroll both of my children. Even if i pass the location now my son starts having a panic attack and screaming and crying hysterical and says he’s scared. “Grace” will claim if there’s a incident that it couldn’t be seen in her camera angle but will make allegations that something happened but can’t show it on the camera, money, hungry, and unprofessional and untrained to deal with children!

  • Graces Place is a welcoming and caring environment for any child. My child attended from the age of 5 months through 5 years of age. Grace’s Place promoted creativity, social skills, and an early / age- appropriate curriculum to better prepare my child for kindergarten. I am forever grateful for the knowledgeable and dedicated staff who happily greeted my child daily and planned activities that enhanced learning and discovery. If you are feeling nervous or apprehensive about finding the right care for your child, look no further. Great directors and teachers! Excellent childcare facility!

Questions parents ask about GRACE'S PLACE

Is GRACE'S PLACE a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. GRACE'S PLACE holds Illinois licence 461235, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does GRACE'S PLACE accept?

Illinois licenses GRACE'S PLACE for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 113. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at GRACE'S PLACE?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for GRACE'S PLACE?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects GRACE'S PLACE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
