Our family has had a great experience at HCP. The teachers are wonderful and really take the time to build relationships with each individual child. Also love the community feel- lots of opportunities to get to know other families and be involved at the school.
Sarah KozmicFeb 28, 2023I can't say enough positive things about HCP. My oldest child started preschool there last September in the Just For Me Two class, and it has been wonderful. She has so much fun playing with the other kiddos, and she absolutely loves her teachers -- Ms. Lynn, Ms. Cathy, and Ms. Noemi. They are all so patient and kind, and it is obvious they really love teaching. They are very communicative -- sharing lesson plans and photos from the classroom, and making time to talk one-on-one with each family. The classroom is clean and well appointed with age-appropriate toys and a variety of activity areas. HCP has been great for my daughter's development, and I love that she is learning organically through play. The co-op setup also really creates a sense of community and encourages relationship-building amongst not just the kids, but their families as well. We love HCP and highly recommend!
April KentalaFeb 28, 2023I cannot say enough great things about Hinsdale Community Preschool (HCP). All 3 of my children have attended HCP. I love that the school is a co-op and feels like a true community. The NAEYC accreditation first drew me to the school. The teachers, school director and sense of community is what has kept us here for 6 years.
Nicole DeckerFeb 17, 2023We love HCP so much! We currently have 1 daughter in the program and our youngest will start in the fall! We cannot list all the amazing qualities of this school but here are a few! 1. The teachers and staff are amazing, caring, passionate and energetic! Each day our daughter is in school they say hello to our family and treat her so special. Our daughter wakes up every morning asking if it’s a school day! 2. They offer amazing enrichment classes! The students who are in the juniors or seniors classroom are able to extend their day and enrich their learning! Such a great option and a great prep for kindergarten! They also has kindergarten enrichment too, which is amazing and great For those half day kiddos! 3. It’s a parent co-op! You get to be a part of your child’s education and help be a part of the school. This is so important and it Allows you to meet so many other great families. Huge plus! The important this is that our daughter is cared for, is learning skills to prepare her for kindergarten and creating wonderful friendships at such a young age! HCP is the perfect preschool for our family.
Lauren MarkhamOct 6, 2021Our whole family loved HCP. The girls were very well prepared for kindergarten and are still close to many of their classmates (they are now 7 and 9 years old). The teachers and director are outstanding. We loved that we could be involved and that there was always a parent in the classroom. We also really enjoyed the Discovery Kids programs (preschool and kindergarten). Geography, Science and Music/Art/Drama along with literacy - great program! Highly recommend!
Lynn MayerMar 5, 2015HCP is an amazing preschool!! It is one of the only parent co-op programs in the area and we have enjoyed every minute of being a part of the HCP family. The opportunity to be in the classroom 5 to 6 times a year (as snack parent) gives you the ability to get to know your child's teachers and classmates. On the flip side, the fact that my daughter knows all her classmate's parents is pretty awesome!! The teachers do an fantastic job prepping the students for Kindergarten! I highly recommend this awesome school! We are sad to leave, as my daughter will be moving on to Kindergarten in the fall.
