We absolutely love Montessori Gifted Prep! It's perfect for our 4 year old son- it matches his pace of curiosity and intellect, and in a short amount of time, he has learned a lot of Spanish and Mandarin phrases and songs. His teachers are very caring, dedicated, and attentive, genuinely getting to know each child well. My son has also made great friends at his school, and he is always excited to go to school each day - which makes drop off so easy and seamless. I know my son will be more than prepared for Kindergarten after his time here!

The Montessori approach truly made a difference—my son was encouraged to learn at his own pace, explore independently, and develop a genuine love for learning. From day one, he felt supported and cared for by the teachers, who created a warm and nurturing environment. The activities were thoughtfully designed and engaging, helping him grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. One of the most delightful surprises is that our son now can sing songs in three languages—English, Spanish, and Chinese. Most importantly, he looked forward to school every day and built so many happy memories. We’re incredibly grateful for this positive experience and highly recommend MGP to any family!
AnnaWApr 20, 2026We absolutely love MGP! The trilingual environment is such a unique and amazing part of the school and it’s incredible to see how naturally the kids pick up different languages. The teachers are truly the best! They are so warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child. You can tell they really know the kids. I was shocked with how thorough the parent-teacher conferences were. It just feels like such a special, supportive place, and we feel really lucky to be part of it!
Arden RostonApr 7, 2026We are so happy we made the switch to this Montessori preschool! The focus on life skills and independence has been incredible. They have a trilingual program (Spanish, Mandarin, and English), and in just a short time our kids have been coming home singing songs in all three languages and using basic everyday words. It’s amazing to see. In six weeks, both of our kids have made huge improvements in their alphabets and numbers. I was initially worried about the mixed-age classroom, especially for my older child, but it’s been such a positive experience. He’s become more confident, is learning a lot, and is so thoughtful toward his younger sister. The life skills they practice, like preparing snacks and cleaning up, have translated beautifully at home. Since it’s a new school, there were a few small things to smooth out (like drop-off), but they’ve been addressed quickly. The school follows a traditional school calendar with spring and winter breaks, which works for us but may require planning for some families. Overall, we’re very happy and highly recommend it!
Linda YFeb 25, 2026I sent all three of my kids to the Chicago location. The school helped place all of them into top selective programs in the city. This is a well run school with great leadership/ownership. Hinsdale is blessed to have MGP!
