We have been a part of Kensington St. Charles for 5 years and have had such a wonderful experience. Both my kids love it here. The teachers are warm, caring, and build strong relationships with the kids. There is a great balance of structure and learning while also letting the kids have fun and play. Such fun themed activities and crafts. They take safety seriously which I appreciate and I know my kids are safe and well cared for while they’re there. My daughter has been there since 3 months, and as our time here comes to an end as she is going to kindergarten, I am genuinely going to miss the people, the leadership, and everything they’ve done to help raise my babies!!
Lauren DoorlagJul 20, 2026It’s hard to put into words how much Kensington has meant to our family over the past several years. My daughter started at Kensington in 2021, and my son, Christian, followed in 2023. As we prepare for Christian to leave for kindergarten this fall, I find myself feeling incredibly grateful—and honestly, very sad to be saying goodbye. Throughout our time at Kensington, we have had nothing but exceptional experiences. Between both of my children, we’ve had many teachers over the years, and I can genuinely say that we have never had a bad one. Every teacher has been kind, nurturing, professional, and deeply invested in the success and happiness of the children in their care. I would especially like to recognize Mrs. Wohld and Ms. Johnson. Christian had a very difficult start to preschool. Drop-offs were incredibly challenging, and there were many mornings filled with tears and anxiety. But as soon as he entered Mrs. Wohld and Ms. Johnson’s classroom, everything changed. Their patience, warmth, and genuine love for their students helped him feel safe, confident, and excited to come to school. The growth we saw in him this year was remarkable, and we will always be thankful for the impact they had on his life. I would also like to acknowledge Ms. Bielman and Ms. McNamara for the outstanding job they do leading Kensington. Their dedication to creating a positive, nurturing environment is evident in every aspect of the school. One thing I have always appreciated is the excellent communication. The teachers consistently share photos and updates through the parent portal, allowing families to feel connected to their children’s day-to-day experiences. It brings so much joy and peace of mind to see what your child is learning and doing while they’re at school. Another aspect that is especially important to our family is Kensington’s commitment to providing organic food. Knowing that my children are being served high-quality, nutritious meals gives me tremendous confidence in the care they receive. I would highly recommend Kensington to any parent, especially those whose children may struggle with transitions or adapting to new environments. The teachers here have a truly special gift for helping children feel comfortable, supported, and loved. Thank you, Kensington, for the incredible memories, friendships, and foundation you have provided for both of my children. Our family will always be grateful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars, without hesitation.
Dana DiMariaJun 24, 2026We’ve had a wonderful experience at this school, and the positive impact of the new leadership has been truly remarkable. Their personalized approach makes families feel seen and valued, and it’s clear that they are deeply invested in both the children and the people who care for them. The teachers and staff create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn. What stands out most is the genuine care they show for each child and the strong communication they maintain with families. We’ve seen tremendous growth in our kids—not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate. We are grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our family and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and high-quality early childhood education program.
Frances KennedyJun 9, 2026I have 3 children who have attended Kensington St. Charles since they were 3 months old. My oldest completed the Kindergarten program last year and still talks about the amazing things he got to experience. I can confidently say enrolling here has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. The teachers are truly incredible—patient, kind, and genuinely engaged with the children. You can see how much they care in the way they speak to each child, support them throughout the day, and celebrate each “win” big or small. My 3 year old is always excited to go in the morning, and that speaks volumes. It’s clear the teachers put real effort into creating exciting activities that keep learning fun. Even my 1 yr old is excited and happy at drop off. The center director and assistant director are incredible as well. They are approachable, proactive, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience for everyone. Overall, this daycare center checks every box: incredible teachers, loving staff, age-appropriate programming, excellent cleanliness, and supportive administrators. We feel lucky to be part of this community, and I would absolutely recommend it to any family looking for high-quality childcare.
Sarah WalkerMay 12, 2026Kensington of St. Charles is more than just a school; it is a second family for my boys. Every day I drop them off, I feel completely confident that the staff will provide not only an exceptional education, but also the compassion and care my children need to build their character. I have and always will think fondly of Kensington, knowing they have helped lay a solid academic and social foundation for my sons.
Lisa HobdayMay 1, 2026Our three children are currently enrolled at Kensington and it’s wonderful. Our kids are so well taken care of. The teachers are instructive, provide structure and a fun environment. About a year ago, a new Director took over and it somehow got better. You know it’s great when our kids ask us if they can go to school. We recommend Kensington to all our friends, family and work colleagues. 5 stars!
