We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Little Angels over the past year. Our son has absolutely thrived here, he’s grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically since starting. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly invested in each child’s development, and it shows in the positive environment they create every day. Communication with parents has always been great, and we’ve always felt confident knowing our son is in a safe, nurturing, and engaging place. He genuinely looks forward to going to school, which says a lot!
Kristina BrandtMay 8, 2026We are wrapping up our first year at Little Angels. We have had such a positive experience so far. The teachers and staff are so friendly and I love the sense of community within the school. Our child has had so much fun both during the school year and at summer camp as well. I love that they get to do things like music class and movement class! We are so glad we chose Little Angels.
Andrea ZwiegMay 7, 2026We have been a Little Angels family for five years and truly could not love this school more. Our children have been in every classroom—from toddlers through fours—and have thrived at each stage. The program strikes a wonderful balance between play-based learning and building independence, all while preparing children eventually for kindergarten. Our kids have always looked forward to going to school and have been so well cared for by the incredible teachers and staff. Our oldest is now in first grade and was very well prepared for elementary school, with a smooth and confident transition into kindergarten. A few things that really set Little Angels apart: Enrichment programs – In addition to core hours (9:00–11:30am), the school offers early drop-off starting at 8:00am, Lunch Pals until 1:00pm, and enrichment options like cooking, STEM, and kindergarten prep until 3:00pm. These can be added as needed rather than committing for the full year, which has been incredibly helpful. Our kids have loved the extra time with friends. Flexible scheduling – Families can choose which days their children attend (based on availability), which is a huge benefit when you don't need a traditional schedule. Strong sense of community – Little Angels fosters an exceptional community. Whether as a working mom or a stay-at-home mom, I’ve felt connected and supported. The school offers family events (summer playdates, ice cream social, family fun night), classroom involvement opportunities (holiday parties, Mystery Reader, Field Day, Field Trips), and parent events (fundraisers, moms’ night out). These experiences helped us build meaningful friendships for both our children and ourselves. We are so grateful for Little Angels. It has given our children a safe, nurturing place to grow and has truly helped shape our life and community in Barrington.
Lindsay DauschMay 4, 2026My family has been a part of the Little Angels Preschool community for 5+ years, and all 3 of my kids have attended. We have had a great experience, and would highly recommend to any new families looking for a place to send their children. We toured many of the other preschools in the area, and what really sets Little Angels apart from others is the strong community. As soon as you walk in the door, I always feel welcome and many friendly hello's from staff and other parents every day. As a stay-at-home mom, I have met many other moms that are interested in building friendships, setting up play dates, and being present at school events, classroom parties, etc. The schedule flexibility of being able to add-on different options: early drop-off, lunch pals, and different enrichment offerings (i.e. cooking class, stem class, etc), has been so helpful, and not available at a lot of other preschools. As far as curriculum, my children have learned so much and always bring home new information. In addition to learning English alphabet letters, sounds and writing: they have learned sign language letters, have a weekly Spanish class (can count to ten, and have lots of new vocab words she introduces weekly), a weekly music class, prayers and bible stories. The 3's and 4's room have 1-2 field trips per year - we've seen a couple children's plays and outdoor field trips like maple syrup trees, and a small zoo. The teachers are responsive, knowledgeable and caring. I love hearing their feedback and seeing the photos they post of my kids - I can often see the activities they chose to do that day and friends they've played with. They care about the success of your student and can often be a great resource. Little Angels is run very similar to a regular school (not a daycare). There are classroom conferences in the fall/spring, room parents, holiday parties, class field trips, Donuts with Dads, Muffins with Moms, Family Night event, Christmas Program, Preschool Graduation, etc.) Parents are welcome in the building, and there are many opportunities to volunteer in the classroom or Parent Advisory Board.
Heather KieserApr 30, 2026We have had an incredible experience with Little Angels Preschool over the past eight years, with all three of our children attending. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional—kind, generous, and they care deeply for every child in their care. Our children have absolutely thrived at Little Angels. We are so grateful for the strong foundation and exceptional early learning experiences this preschool has given them. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to keep kids engaged and inspired, and the enrichment programs are always fun and creative. Without a doubt, the teachers and staff have played an integral role in preparing my children for kindergarten. If you are looking for a strong sense of community and a preschool that provides exceptional early learning, look no further. Highly recommend!
Kristen BradfieldApr 30, 2026Both of my children attended Little Angel’s and both had the very best preschool experience. The entire staff is incredibly kind and have been especially helpful with my extra sensitive little guy, helping him learn to love school. They all know both of my children by name, including my older son who has been out of preschool for 3 years! I feel like both of my kids received a great preschool education that prepared them to take on kindergarten. They maintain a strong play based curriculum while creatively integrating early education skills and knowledge. They also offer extra curricular activities and a lunch program for those looking for more of a full day type program. They also have summer camps which is great if you need something for your kids to do over those summer months. They do field trips, they have different types of family days, they have performances at Christmas and at graduation which are so sweet. I couldn’t be any happier with the experience we have had with Little Angel’s Preschool.
