Anthony Wayne Preschool

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Anthony Wayne PreK is! Truly! Let's start with the staff...Miss Jenn, the director, has created a work environment where teachers are respected and highly valued. She takes great care to be sure that she hires quality people who have a genuine love for children. Miss Jenn is also extremely knowledgeable about child development and creates a curriculum that is fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate. She understands that young children learn through play and exploration and provides enriching activities that allow open ended play. Do you know how many preschools I've seen that have children doing worksheets?! It's completely inappropriate and not in line with what young children need. I love that Jenn understands this - never ever, in 18 months, have I seen a worksheet come home. I continue to be impressed with the quality of learning activities being implemented. Communication between teachers and parents is above and beyond.. The teachers send detailed reports, in real time, about what my daughter is learning each day. I get notified when she goes potty, when she naps and for how long, and what she ate for lunch and snacks. They also send pictures and videos!! Lastly, AW PreK is completely affordable! I honestly think they should charge more, and whatever those teachers are being paid it isn't enough! This school honestly is a diamond in the rough. I feel so blessed to have found AW PreK and wish my daughter could go there forever.

The teachers at Anthony Wayne Preschool are amazing- to say the least. They love their children and promote love and positivity in the classrooms as well- it shows! The kids are always happy AND kind to one another. My son came to Anthony Wayne from another daycare in town where each day he came home with a story about what kids were mean and who hit him. It was heartbreaking but I came to think this was normal with kids together. At Anthony Wayne he comes home SO happy and eager to talk about all that he and his friends did that day in school. When I drop him off and pick him up the kids are always playing together, they’re all happy and smiling. These teachers deserve awards for their kindness, their love, and their dedication to the kids in their lives!

My 2 girls go to Anthony Wayne Pre-School. They have been to a few different daycares before coming here and this one is special. Truly. Mrs.Jenn and Ms.Morgan are amazing, and they are caring and gentle with the children. They form bonds with them and resolve conflict in such a calm and appropriate way. When I come to pick my girls up they always have so much to tell me about their day. They are always doing new activities and they even have an app that you download to your phone that gives you daily updates on exactly what they did for the day (including pictures). And with all of that aside, IT IS AFFORDABLE! I truly feel so lucky to have a place for my children to go that I know I do not have to worry about them or who is with them and the kind of care that is being provided. Love this place to the core, and I have/will highly recommend Anthony Wayne Pre-School and Daycare for anyone else seeking daycare/pre-school for their children. Thanks so much for all you do! :)
