I had an incredibly unprofessional experience with Pine Hills Learning Center. After touring on August 21st, staff member Vickie told us a spot was available for our son. We were ready to do the paperwork and pay the holding fee that same day, but she insisted we wait until Monday because she wouldn't be in on Friday. Based on her word, we gave notice to our current daycare. When we showed up ready to enroll on Monday morning, we were shocked to learn the spot had been given to another child, with zero notice to us. Vickie said she'd try to get the spot back and promised to call us by 10 AM. When she didn't, we called back at 1 PM, and she told us she'd call back within 30 minutes. She never did. When we called again at 4 PM, she was already gone for the day. The other staff had no idea what we were talking about and said Vickie never communicated anything to them. When we finally got ahold of Vickie on August 26th, her only excuse was that she "got busy." She then tried to blame us, saying, "You guys could've come in on Friday," even though she was the one who told us not to. Not once did she or anyone else apologize for the miscommunication or the massive inconvenience. She never even mentioned that someone else could have helped us on Friday. Because of their actions, we were left without a daycare for our son. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and the blame-shifting was beyond unprofessional. I would not recommend this center.
JunAug 26, 2025We have two sons (3 & 5) who have attended Pine Hills for over a year now. They have an amazing staff and safe/fun environment for our kiddos. We are so happy we found PHLP and couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Ross PriesterMar 17, 2024My kids all go to pine hills and absolutely love it. The teachers are invested in them and my kids are taught in addition to be treated well. They love daycare and all their friends there. Would definitely recommend.
Olivia CzerniakJul 28, 2023Making the switch between daycares was really tough but Pine Hills has exceeded our expectations. My daughter loves the activities, outdoor time, and her teachers. I love the daily updates and photos through the app. Overall it’s been a wonderful experience and we’re so grateful!
Jessica HornettMay 17, 2023Our youngest has been at Pine Hills for over 2 years and he loves it! We were recommended Pine Hills by friends and we’re so glad we made the switch. The teachers are patient and I’ve seen them on many occasions help kids navigate their “big feelings” in a kind, calm way. There is lots of outdoor time and each week they learn bible stories during chapel. The Pre-K classroom he is in now is a great balance of learning and free play. We’ve gotten to know his teachers and we appreciate the open communication with the staff as there has been some turnover with leadership recently. We’re looking forward to another year here before kindergarten, and this summer our oldest is excited to try their summer camp for the first time.
