The Goddard School of Westfield

We moved my daughters to Goddard after numerous issues with our previous centers. We had heard great feedback on it and have had nothing but success with them. Miss Lynda and Miss Angie have been great for our 3 year old and very supportive in her potty training journey. They kids are always doing fun learning activities and we can’t wait to see them grow with the outdoor garden this summer.

Went to another daycare and had a horrible experience but am glad we found this daycare. The teachers and staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring. My wife and I are happy with our experience.

We recently moved from Wisconsin to Indiana. One of my biggest worries was finding a daycare for my 1 and 3 yr old. We left behind a daycare in Wisco we absolutely loved and one that loved on our kiddos in all the ways you hope for as a parent. Due to my job hunt and shifting start date, Goddard was able to accommodate us even after pushing back out start date a could weeks. I greatly appreciated their flexibility, especially during a stressful transition for me as a working mom. Due to the several changes our kiddos had a rough transition. New space, new teachers, and new schedule. Ms Tati, and Ms Kelsey were amazing with our 3 yr old son. They helped us strategize to make drop offs easier and quickly develop a relationship with him to provide some extra TLC when he was sad. From what I have seen they are firm but loving and provide a safe space for my son to grow! My 1 yr old daughter really struggled, especially in the infant room. She was not used to the napping space and with this being her first time in daycare really struggled to adjust to the new faces. After only two weeks she was moved to the toddler room where she really stared to thrive. Ms Emery was very loving and has such a calm presence which I appreciate. My daughter now reaches for her and the smile on her face in picture updates tells me she is loving it! Thank you Goddard for working with us and helping our kiddos adjust!

We have had a great experience in sending our two daughters to this daycare. Ms Tati, Ms Kelsey, Ms Melaya, Ms Cora, and Ms Lauren are household names for us, and have made very positive impacts on both girls. Our oldest started K this year and is extremely well prepared academically and socially.

Our child has been at Goddard for 3+ years now. Goddard’s overall approach to child development and learning has helped our child to thrive. However, the reason I give this location 5 stars is not because of the facility itself, but rather my child’s teacher. My child makes strong attachments to their teacher and that relationship is what’s worthy of 5 stars. Cora has been with our child for over two years and is still constantly working to understand our child better. Cora takes the time to consider children’s individual needs, learning styles, attachment, and sensitivity. While there has been a high level of teacher turn over during the last 2 years in my child’s class, Cora has remained a constant and worked to help the children through the transitions. There have been dynamics and interactions (not just from students) over the last year that have raised a lot of concern in our family. However, Cora has shown patience, excellent communication, and collaboration whenever we have brought up concerns. Our child adores her and feels safe and supported in her presence. A teacher who works hard to understand our child and reach them on an individual level is everything we could ask for. Teachers like Cora are representative of why we chose Goddard from the beginning and demonstrate a high standard of childcare and education.
