  • My son has been at Gurukul Learning Center since he was 4 months and is now 4.5 years old. We love this center! The atmosphere is so warm and relaxed, which instantly put us at ease. The teachers are not only caring and attentive, but they also create a safe, creative environment where the kids can really learn, explore, and grow. You can really tell that the staff cares for each child and goes above and beyond to make sure each child is included. I have loved the flexibility that GLC has provided through life changes. The director is incredibly supportive, kind, approachable, and always ready to help out. You can really tell she cares, and it makes a huge difference. We couldn't be happier with the experience we continue to have at GLC. My son loves it here, and we will be sad to leave when he starts Kindergarten next fall. The staff really does feel like family!

  • Girls are on their second year here and it’s been great! They absolutely love going to school to see their teachers and friends so much they cry when I pick them up 😂😂😂

  • My son has been in Gurukul for about a year now. We’re so thankful for the care and support our son has received. He had a tough time adjusting with peers and also couldn't emotionally/physically regulate himself at first. But the teachers and Director took personal care to understand his needs and helped him get the support and care he needed. Their patience and dedication truly made a difference. A special shout out to Miss Debbie and Miss Deanna, we truly believe their care and efforts made all the difference for our son. Now he is thriving and developing so much better than we thought. He’s made tremendous progress—especially in his social skills. Sadly we will be moving out of state soon and we are hoping we find another daycare at our new place as good as Gurukul! We’re so grateful to the entire Gurukul team for creating such a warm and nurturing environment. Highly recommend!

  • Gurukul Learning Center has been a wonderful experience for our family. My daughter has been attending for two years now and absolutely loves it. She’s developed close bonds with her teachers and feels incredibly comfortable and secure in the environment. It’s been heartening to see her thriving socially and emotionally, and it’s clear she’s learning a lot through the play-based curriculum. I’ve noticed some negative reviews, some with context and some without, which prompted me to share our experience. I understand that daycare experiences can vary greatly from family to family, and what works well for one child may not for another. Gurukul may not be a fit for everyone, but it has been a wonderful fit for us. My daughter often doesn’t want to leave when I come to pick her up — a testament to how much she enjoys her time there. The curriculum emphasizes play-based learning, which has been fantastic for her. She’s retained quite a bit in terms of learning, and we’ve seen her confidence and social skills blossom. There has been some staff turnover, which I know is common in daycare settings, but a core group of dedicated teachers has remained consistent and genuinely cares for the children. The staff has always been open, communicative, and transparent with us, and they’ve offered flexibility when we needed it, which we greatly appreciate. While the facilities aren’t the newest or most updated, it’s the warm, nurturing environment created by the teachers that matters most. Plus, Gurukul is more affordable than some other centers in the area, making it a practical choice without sacrificing quality care. Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience and are grateful for the care and attention our daughter receives at Gurukul.

  • I waited for a while to post a review, because I had no other experiences with preschool before taking my child here. And while I never felt that my child was mistreated, I did feel that their program fell very short of what was promised. I was told that they would learn about artists and Spanish, neither of which were actually taught. The teachers switched part way through the year because one had a family medical emergency, which would have been fine, if I was told about it. Which I wasn't. I didn't even know until my son said something about having a different teacher now, and nothing was explained until I asked. They weren't very organized when it came to staffing or curriculum, and it showed. And I was never kept in the loop about what actually was being taught. I was always curious if they were actually doing anything until they finally sent home a pile of artwork. One time. Any time issues were addressed, there was only ever finger pointing instead of accountability and problem solving. When it come to my child's education, being kept in the dark is not how I prefer to be. We have switched to a different facility and could not be happier for my child to be receiving childcare and education elsewhere.
