  • Very selective pool hours, they prioritize Zumba classes in the pool with senior citizens over free swim for everyone. Won’t let you swim in lanes that are not being used for the seniors, won’t let you take the kids in the outdoor pool. So basically if you show up after 6:30 you can’t swim until 7:45, because the outdoor pool closes at 7 and Zumba is the priority for what ever reason. My point is the pools here are horribly mismanaged. The only reason I bought memberships here is so my family can swim, at this point It would make more sense for me to cancel the memberships and buy an above ground pool.

  • Shoutout to Marlene, Aiden, and Coach Hightower for making me feel welcomed to the YMCA family. I plan to volunteer in the food pantry and on the basketball team. One year plus recovering from a car accident and I feel blessed and thankful to be alive. 🙏🏽

  • This place has a theft problem. Nice facility but not a place to assume your stuff is safe. Even when it's locked up in a locker.

  • don't waste your time with putting your child in the swim lessons. My child was in the 10:45am class on Saturdays. The class is VERY unorganized. The instructors get frustrated with the children and some of the parents don't control their children. I reached out to the director, Doreen Manna, who first spoke to me regarding the issues of too many children, it's supposed to be level 1, but the instructors expect your kids to know how to swim right off the rip, and if they don't know how to do things the instructors get aggravated and try to tell you to basically do what they get paid for. Doreen at first agreed with me regarding the issues and that I pay for swim for a reason and tried to reassure not to remove her. That following weekend, my daughter had an awful experience with another girl in the swim lessons, who jumped on her back repeatedly WHILE IN THE WATER and HITTING HER BACK while in the water. I HAD to tell the instructor to move my daughter away from her. The parents were even shocked. Doreen IGNORED my phone call/voicemail NEVER returned my call. I got frustrated as any parent would paying for this because it ISNT free. I emailed her asking about a refund and to remove my daughter, but she can answer that though, right and immediately removes my daughter. Not only that but making excuses for her instructors and herself. Doreen, your staff are a bunch of younger college kids who get frustrated with children who are there to learn which I mentioned to you on the phone before and you even agreed my kid is there to LEARN. you need to organize this better and have less kids. even YOUR instructors have expressed that there are too many kids in each class! my daughter learned NOTHING being there. I want my money back from the lessons I already paid for as well as someone OVER Doreen to reach out to me. so disappointed in the lack of Reponses, the emails which I will save. Doreen, you have terrible customer service and terrible instructors. You should have made an EFFORT to fix the problem, but you didn't. you made excuses. VERY disappointed in how this was handled, especially the way you handled this. You just wanted my kid out of the lessons, so you didn't want to hear a caring parents' concerns. I shouldn't have instructors telling me I need to teach my daughter for a class I paid for, for her to learn. I shouldn't have to tell the instructors to talk to my kid calmly, I shouldn't have to tell them anything. very disgusted!

  • Kristen’s water fitness class is excellent. Always challenging and fun. She puts a lot of effort into each and every class! Kathy’s classes are great as well. Both challenge in different ways

  • This YMCA is so clean!! The fitness area is really big and all the equipment looks new and works!! The ladies at the kids zone are amazing, super personal, and so nice to the kids! The indoor pool is always warm, they have a lot of life vests and other items to protect your little ones plus there are ALWAYS lifeguards on duty, they have kids take a "swim test" the deep end is around 8-9 feet deep, the outdoor pool in only 3,5 feet deep and perfect for the smaller kids that can't swim well. The locker rooms and shower are very ,very clean. They even offer birthday party packages!!! This Y has so many things I could go on and on and on!!!
