  • The preschool teacher often appears flustered, confused, and overwhelmed during pickup times. It’s unclear whether this is due to her being relatively young and inexperienced in managing a class of young children. Additionally, she does not seem to demonstrate the warmth and engagement typically expected of someone leading a preschool class. The school’s website states that they support teachers in meeting the learning needs of their students. However, this does not seem to be the case in practice. If a child shows signs of developmental delays or requires additional support, the school tends to try less time with less effort with the child rather than work with the parents to provide assistance or allow time to seek the necessary help.

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sacred Heart School in Kingston, MA. Our family has been part of the Sacred Heart community for several years now, and every day I’m reminded of how fortunate we are to be here. From the moment we first toured the campus, we were struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the genuine spirit of community. The faculty and staff go above and beyond to make every student feel seen, supported, and valued. Teachers are not just instructors — they are mentors, coaches, and cheerleaders, always available for extra help, encouragement, or a kind word. Academically, Sacred Heart provides a rigorous, well-rounded education grounded in both deep knowledge and moral values. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to challenge students while nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Whether in math, science, language arts, or religion, the instruction is intentional and meaningful. I’ve seen my child grow in confidence, problem-solving ability, and love of learning. What sets this school apart is how seamlessly faith, service, and character development are woven into daily life. Students aren’t just taught what to learn; they’re guided in why it matters and how to live those truths in their interactions, choices, and care for others. The emphasis on integrity, compassion, and community service creates a culture that extends far beyond the classroom walls. The extra-curricular offerings are robust, too. From clubs and fine arts to athletics (for those grades that still offer sports), there is something for everyone. These activities enrich students’ experiences, build friendships, and promote balance in their lives. The school also offers solid support systems — before/after care, parent engagement, and meaningful communication between school and home. The facilities are well-maintained and conducive to learning: clean, safe, and equipped with modern resources. The technology integration is thoughtful, not forced, meaning students learn to use tools appropriately and purposefully. Finally, the Sacred Heart community of parents, students, alumni, and staff is extraordinary. The sense of belonging is real — you feel it at Masses, school gatherings, fundraisers, and everyday drop-offs and pickups. There’s pride in the school, genuine care for one another, and a shared mission to uplift not just academic achievement but moral character and spiritual growth. If you are seeking a school that combines strong academics, faith, community, and character formation, Sacred Heart is truly exceptional. We are grateful every day for the ways it has shaped our child — and our family — for the better. Highly, highly recommended.
