  • After a tour, I followed up with a few specific questions twice and never received a response. The lack of communication raised concerns and a red flag for me. I'm glad I did not choose to send my child there.

  • My family has been a part of the Sandcastles community for seven years with children enrolling at just 12 weeks old and graduating all the way through the pre-k program. The entire staff is wonderful, and when entering through as a first-time mom, I found their collective experience and advice in regard to childcare and early development invaluable. It is so much more than a childcare and early education facility - they truly care about each child and family that enter the doors each day, and I will be forever grateful for the love, care, and attention both of my boys received in their classrooms. I could not recommend them more highly.

  • I called today and had the most unpleasant experience with the DIRECTOR “Ms.Mo”. I was calling around to retrieve information about day cares in the area. She automatically assumed I was an agency. When asked about cost she simply said “No” and hung up. I can’t believe a business that take care of children would treat their callers like that. You have no idea who I am and I did not deserve that type of disrespect. First impressions are everything and I would NEVER recommend anyone to this establishment from that one phone. Disgusting attitude.

  • Sandcastles takes the Health and safety as a priority with all of their children and staff. We were with sandcastles for over 8 years and they cared for both of our children for all of their early education. The staff are loyal, amazing and long-tenured and are the best on the south shore. Thank you sandcastles for all you have done and all that you do, especially to protect our kids and our staff during this incredibly difficult situation of the pandemic which is impossible to navigate.

  • Our family has attended this school through multiple children and I can say this is a wonderful place with thoughtful and caring teachers and administration. The program has set up my older children for success heading into elementary school while caring for them each day. Even with the complications of the pandemic they have rose to each challenge and made us feel comfortable with enhanced communication and policies.

  • We had a bad experience touring this school - we have not had a child attend. They wasted our time, which is especially limited since we are still dealing with work-from-home and the pandemic. When we scheduled the first tour, my husband and I rearranged our work schedules - when we arrived we were told the tour had to be cancelled due to covid - the employee came outside to tell us in 20 degree weather wearing a T-shirt - since I was already there I asked a few questions about the school - the employee kept saying how cold it was and had no desire to have a longer than 20 second conversation - we left with zero clarity. The back-and-forth trying to arrange another tour went on for another 3 weeks until we were told they had decided to do an enrollment freeze. Not once was there a phone call or any consideration taken for my time. I don’t know what the eduction side of the school is like, but I was incredibly disappointed with the organization, office and headteachers handling of this process. Edit: The response perfectly highlights how this school does not consider the time of others -- a simple apology would have been sufficient. I did look at it from your point of view, which is why I consistently gave you the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to make it right -- which you have not, even with this response. You did not email me the day before, you emailed me a few hours before -- and a simple 2 minute phone call (knowing that your emails go to spam) would have meant the difference between the inconvenience to me. I would suggest that you take a look at it from my perspective, and perhaps you will be able to improve.
