  • My son attended Step Ahead in 2021 and I pulled him out immediately, never to return again, after staff members lost my son. You read that correctly. THEY LOST MY SON. 2 teachers were assigned to 6 kids, my son being one of them. The children were playing in the rear side of building - a tiny playground when my son managed to leave the area, an area that was supposed to be fenced in and made his way into the parking lot of the plaza where this daycare is located! THIS ENTIRE TIME, NOT ONE TEACHER NOTICED HE WAS GONE!!!! I get a frantic call from the director telling me my son was lost! My heart fell to the floor. I raced to the daycare (I was only 5 minutes away, thank God). When I arrived, a police officer met me to tell me my son was found by a man who lived in the apartment complex adjacent to the plaza!! I’m going to spare the details of what transpired afterwards but my son was found, THANK GOD and we NEVER, EVER stepped foot in that place again!

  • I just moved here recently to Randolph. I went to Belcher Park today with my girls since I seen it was close by to me. I noticed there seemed to be two daycares there. This specific one Step Ahead is what had me concerned and shaking my head. The teachers were yelling at these kids, not entertaining them, picking them up in an inappropriate manner, and they were walking around bored out their minds. These kids looked like they were 18 month olds to about maybe 2 and a half. I was helping my girls at some of the activities and the kids were asking me if I could help them while the teachers looked on and didn’t offer to give them a hand. I really was contemplating putting my 3 year old in this area but now it just makes me think otherwise. I would not be comfortable leaving my kids in their hands.

  • Amazing teachers and staff. My daughter goes 3 x a week and loves it. I feel at peace leaving her in great hands when I drop her off to go to work. She has learned so much and comes home happy. Grateful to have found this place. I also love the picture updates on the app. Great choice overall and my daughter will be ready for kindergarden this year so I couldn’t be more thankful.

  • Love this place!!! The staffs are amazing. My daughter loves it there! They are so compassionate with your kids. That feeling of “I hope she’ll be ok there” NEVER crossed my mind! Ms Ida is a doll. Understands everything that any parents are or may be going through! Please don’t think twice. Even if it’s just 1-2 days a week, you’ll see what he/she will learn. Great job guys! 👍🏽

  • This was our first preschool experience and they had my children sleeping all day long. When I confronted them about it one day unannounced walking in at 4pm I was told they are not to wake children up… half the class was sleeping and the room was dark • I was also made to rush into dropping my kids off after a long weekend away and we we were dealing w traffic… even calling on the way I told we would no longer have spots. We were never late beforehand. The owner spoke w me but never took ownership blamed it on her employees who I never had a complaint about. If it’s the same owner God bless y’all (posting comments after 6 years of 1 star review still feel the same) ✌️many other experiences after this first childcare experience…nothing bad to say about those - my kids are 10 & 8 now

  • My 3 year old daughter has attended The Amazing Learning Center since November 2012.Our experience here has been great! We like the fact that a lot of focus is placed on learning but in a fun way. Our daughter never wants to leave at the end of the day and is always excited to go to school in the mornings. We definitely recommend The Amazing Learning Center if you’re looking for an amazing learning experience for your kids!
