Our child has been at this daycare since she was 15 months old, and we have been so happy with her experience. After just one month, all the teachers and staff knew her name, and even children from other classes knew her. She smiles when we arrive, when we leave, and even when she sees people from school out on the street. It really feels like a small family. She has progressed and developed so much since starting here. She knows many songs, recognizes the alphabet, is learning to count, and clearly loves her teachers, caregivers, books, projects, and daily routines. She has also learned little habits and rules at school. For example, if she sees me eating something while standing in the kitchen, she immediately says “sit down!” — something she clearly learned at school and now very seriously enforces with everyone at home. This is not a “high-tech” daycare, and yes, there are no apps or constant photos. But honestly, we do not miss that. We previously had our child at a "larger chain daycare", and we much prefer this smaller, kinder, more personal environment. Every day at pickup, we receive a short written summary with a few moments from the day, and it always feels genuinely specific to our child. When I read it back to her, even though she is still quite young, she clearly recognizes the moment — she smiles, reacts, gestures, or tries to say little words connected to what happened. The teachers and staff are very consistent, and you get to know the whole team, not just the teachers in your child’s class. The environment is diverse, warm, and caring. The staff truly know our child — her personality, her strengths, and the things she is still working on. We have even received calls in the evening to check on her if she was sick or if something out of the ordinary happened at school, which really shows how much they care. They also have a large outdoor play space and a clear monthly curriculum that is communicated to parents at the start of each month. We have also found that, compared with other daycares, they are open much more often. When they are closed for federal holidays or other scheduled days, it is clearly communicated at the start of the year, and monthly reminders are sent for that specific month. Once a term, we receive a longer update from the teachers and have parent-teacher conferences. What they share always makes it clear that they really know her. Whenever there has been an issue, we have been able to communicate directly with both the owner and the teachers, and things have been resolved promptly.
Ana PinharandaMay 13, 2026With more than 2 decades of experience, Wee Care JP still truly stands out as a daycare. The team creates an environment where children feel happy, supported, and encouraged to grow, both emotionally and intellectually. I am so pleased to watch my beautiful 2 y/o niece thrive. She has developed so much confidence for her age - expressing her feelings clearly, counting to 10, and even building an early love for reading (She is also able to describe different images). She talks about her best friend every single day when she comes home, which says so much about how much she enjoys being there. She’s even excited to participate in daily chores at home! I truly believe that Wee Care JP plays a big role in her growth. The nurturing environment helps children develop in a positive, thoughtful way that makes them ready for their next step. So I highly recommend Wee Care JP to any family looking for a caring, experienced, and supportive daycare for their kids.
Xavier Orryl PierreApr 7, 2026I would not recommend Wee Care JP to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and professional environment for their child. My experience with this daycare has been extremely disappointing, especially considering this is where I trusted my young daughter to be cared for. One of the biggest concerns is the staff’s behavior. I have personally witnessed staff yelling at children, and the overall attitude often comes across as impatient, cold, and disengaged. There is very little warmth or enthusiasm, which is something every parent expects in a childcare setting. Communication is another major issue. Updates about my child’s day were either minimal or very vague. When asking about meals, naps, or any incidents, the responses were often unclear and left me with more questions than answers. There is no app, no photos, and no real-time updates, which makes it even harder to feel connected or reassured during the day. Cleanliness and hygiene are also concerning. There were noticeable issues such as dirty floors, unclean toys, and strong odors (diapers, food, etc.). On top of that, my child seemed to get sick more frequently than what I would consider normal, which raises additional concerns about the environment. Scheduling and policies are very inconvenient for working parents. The daycare has frequent closures—sometimes for weeks at a time, and other times for random single days or a few days—outside of standard holidays. This lack of consistency makes it extremely difficult to plan childcare. Another issue that made me and other parents uncomfortable is that there appears to be a family living on the top floor of the daycare with access to the same building and doors. Knowing that individuals who are not staff could potentially access the areas where the children are kept is unsettling and raises safety concerns. Overall, this experience has been stressful and disappointing. As a parent, you want to feel confident and at ease leaving your child in someone else’s care, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.
Daniel SchwartzMar 18, 2026My child has adored being at Wee Care! As a parent I am so proud to watch him grow "polite, kind and gentle." Teachers truly care. My child is learning to be confident and thoughtful, to love books and numbers and enjoy eating and being a good sharing friend! None of that comes easy to a little person, and all of that is a testament to a great school. I love how much the children play outside in good weather. At Wee Care the children learn community as well as preparation for academic world. I am very surprised that at 4 years old he can count past 70 and do some addition and subtraction already...but most importantly he is learning to be a happy, healthy, good kid and community member. I can't imagine a better learning environment for my child. We will miss wee care so much when its time to go to public school.
Sarah AssefaMay 13, 2025We love wee care…Ms. Barbara and Mrs. Alicia ROCK!!!! My children love this place!!!!
natalie WallaceGomesApr 24, 2025My son has been with Wee Care for a year. He has been improving a lot over the past year and he loves going to school since he loves to meet with his teachers and friends. All the teachers have great patience and knowledge for helping toddlers and preschoolers overcome barriers such as potty training, separation anxiety and etc. I do appreciate their help for helping my son become a happier and independent person.
