  Clarlen Nursery is absolutely the best!! We were initially skeptical due to the smaller class size, but we are 100% glad we chose to enroll our daughter for 3 year old and then 4 year old preschool. The teachers are absolutely amazing. The children all learn great educational and social skills. Would give more stars if it were possible!

  I'm delighted we found this school for our 3-year-old! I have 3 children (my oldest is now in college!) so have experienced different kinds of schools along the way. This is a small school where the teachers respond to each child warmly and personally. As children emulate adults, we have seen tremendous growth in our daughter both socially and in her ability to treat others in a way that is caring and conscientious. What is particularly special about this nursery school is how it is balanced between providing time for creative play and structured lessons. This first half hour is devoted to free play, which allows the young ones to acclimate in a relaxed environment before they begin their lesson of the day. The teachers provide lessons that are well-thought-out and organized that the children bring home. There are also field trips that are really fun for the kids (and parents!) but serve to educate as well. On the note about this being a non-sectarian school, I feel that this school can appeal to most people, regardless of faith. My husband is religious and I am not, yet we both feel that this is the right place for our child. Finally, even though this is a private nursery school, it does not have private school prices! The tuition is very affordable. 5 stars for Clarlen!
